Brilliant location and a great shower

The location was great.

The sofa bed was broke and one side really dipped and had a metal bar which was Sharpe and caught my leg I did complain and they just came in a made the bed again. Did not rectify at all. The decoration was terrible a bit of paint really would have made the room more pleasurable

defnately use Astria rooms and ask for in front of the train station great value

location was quite central good but as with any central locations city centre noise is unavoidable but average nisier than infron of railway station

What I was expecting

Easy to pick the keys from Hotel and go to the Apartment, the location was even better than Hotel (10 / 15 mins walking from Piazza Maggiore), big room.

At the hotel when picking the keys had to pay the tourist tax - this value should be highlighted during reservation or already included in the hotel price, otherwise it's kind a surprise.

Location was quite good

We knew you had to collect keys from the hotel and were prepared but it was quite a walk. The entrance to the apartment was dark and a little scary. The apartment was dirty, curtains were hanging off and there was damp stains on the walls. The drains smell awful. No kettle or iron. Window didn’t close properly and there was a curtain over the cupboard instead of a door. Extremely noisy and didn’t feel safe

Great location and facilities

Location about 5 mins from train station and nice view. Room was very spacious and came with kitchenette facilities. Bathroom was stunning. There was also a coffee machine , fridge etc . Very good for money and a group of friends as 3 beds. Would definitely recommend

Very easy to collect keys from Astoria hotel. Staff at front desk were friendly and efficient. Modern and clean inside. Enjoyed the spacious bathroom. Loved having the coffee machine.

It would have been nice to know that it was another 10 minutes walk from Astoria hotel to the apartment. From the address we had on Booking.com, although it stated 'different location', we anticipated the apartment would be in an adjoining property. Had we known it would be another 10min walk, and which direction, I would have left my husband at the train station with the heavy baggage and then joined him once I had the key to help him carry the heavy bags to the apartment directly from the station. Instead we walked the bags about 25 minutes instead of 10minutes when it was quite busy. We couldn't work out how to turn the Bialetti coffee machine on (switch at back). Bedside Lights from bedside switches not working.

Never again. Astoria : you can be either a hotel or property manager. Not both at the same time.

After along flight from Miami to Rome and a connecting flight from Rome to Bologna, I was told that I need to pick up the key at the Astoria hotel and walk 900 meters, almost 1000 yards, with my suitcase and carry on to go to the apartment. The Wifi connection was horrible. I couldn't get my notebook to connect. with my mobile, I had to walk around the apartment to pick up the signal.

If you're a senior, don't book this place.

Check in at one location, but the room was ten minutes walk through downtown. So, if arrive by cab at first location, have to haul luggage to actual location of room. Then room was on floor eighteen steps high, no elevator. Bad experience for us senior travelers.

Location Good. Very cheap, only issue is collecting keys from a different location to the apartment but overall was enjoyable.

Great location for being close to the action but wasn’t too busy.

The apartment was a short walk from the old town centre and the centrale train station. It was a very comfortable stay! The studio and bathroom were spacious and the small kitchenette was well equiped.

Beds were a little uncomfortable.

Modern appartment in a central location

Good central location. Modern fittings in appartment and comfortable bed.

Bathroom although modern, the shower leaked because the door seals were broken. No hooks in the bathroom to hang up anything. The air-conditioning remote and front door lock (key card operated) missing their battery covers. In general greater attention is needed on maintenance, otherwise ok.

The only thing I liked was that there was no bugs. judging by the condition of the apartment I was expecting to step on them…

The apartment was not clean, there was fungus on the ceiling in the bathroom that actually made a hole in it. The sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable. We hated that the apartment was situated 1 km away from the check in point (we read about different locations but somehow did not expect them to be so far away - we still were lucky because the apartment location was quite close to the train station - the only reason we decided to book Astoria). We did not like staff in the hotel, they seemed rude and unhelpful. It wasn’t worth the money we spent and we were really happy to leave it at 3 am to catch the early bus to the airport. Luckily we’d been to Bologna earlier and this dreadful place didn’t impact our impression of the beautiful city..

great price but I ll never do 2 nights in a place like that

we were just here for a night on our way to Firenze . the place has no privacy and you can hear everyone walking infront of the door . the peoples that run this hotel / apartment are really nice though . location was good to , in 20 min you are everywhere .

the noises , if felt dark , the bed wasn’t comfortable at all .
