Hotel Cardinal of Florence - recommended for ages 25 to 55

This place was great for the value! The suite was clean, spacious and had a beautifully-lit bathroom. The AC also worked well in this August heat. The view from the rooftop was phenomenal, and we spent almost every evening catching the sunset over the Duomo. The location is great, and every staff member was exceptionally friendly. A wonderful experience overall!

There’s lots of steps to get to the property but that’s not a big problem at all. Just worth mentioning!

The rooftop was very cool, the rooms were clean and nice albeit a bit plain. The staff was extremely helpful.

Be aware there are lots of steps to the level the hotel is on. It’s not a deal-breaker but it tough at the end of a day when you’ve already walked 20k+ steps.

Great location. Excellent staff. Rooftop terrace was a bonus. Free breakfast.

Just the stairs with luggage- even without luggage!!!

The location was very near the duomo, and the Italian guy at the reception he was helpful and informative . There is a small terrace area with an amazing view to the duomo, perfect for a little colder evening, but difficult very narrow stairs to it.

1- wasn't aware that the hotel rooms are on the 3rd floor of a very old building without any elevators 2- the air-conditioning unit made a water accident that costed us to change the room and lose a sweater due to very big stain. 3- the toilet despite the renovation, it stinks of sewage smell. 4- the flush in the new room works 50% or less. 5- thin walls that makes you everything especially when there were noisy guests late in the evening and in the middle of the night
