Incredible stay at this beautiful, atmospheric hotel in the most fantastic location. The entire Danieli team couldn't have been more friendly, welcoming and helpful. The concierges were so sweet and nothing was too much trouble. THey also remembered all the guests' names from the outset - amazing. I had the most marvellous time! If you eat at the top floor restaurant, be sure to try the spaghetti with smoked butter and mullet. Spectacular. The views from the terrace restaurant are stunning.
The hot water was on/off due to some plumbing issues and I would love to have had tea making facilities in the room (they did bring me a kettle but then housekeeping took away the cups!). Breakfast at EUR56 was steep for what was a good but not amazing buffet. It was quite heavy on the sweet stuff. Would have loved some a la carte add ons etc omelettes for that price.
