Excellent hotel in the mountains

Excellent location in the mountains, ideal for trips around the area, all-day dining including drinks, friendly staff in the restaurant and reception, quiet rooms with fragrant soap, nice blankets, blackout curtains. Parking at the hotel. We received a Card+ holiday card from the accommodation for discounts in the area.

There is construction going on around the hotel, trucks are driving by, construction materials in places. However, there was no noise in the morning. You couldn't hear anything.

The right place to escape for total recharge; absolutely amazing vacation!

Great location and position, very clean, pet friendly, everything is new inside, loved the bathroom design with a lot of space and shelves to put the stuff on, loved the balcony and the view, the staff was very kind and helpful, special thanks to Andrea from the front desk. The food was good, drinks were included in the dinner price, great timing of meals.

Everything was perfect! The only one thing that could maybe be upgraded for absolute perfection are the pillows-maybe to put thicker pillows.

Ski hotel with all-inclusive service option

When we arrived and checked in, I felt that I had chosen the wrong hotel (see minus points below). But the staff were nice, at the reception and at the restaurant. The restaurant staff were Italians. Though we dont speak the same language, Sarah gave us suggestions for hikes in the neighborhood - which turned our trip to be amazing. The brochures provided by the reception also helped. Following the brochure, we visited Garnitzenklamm (a beautiful gorge) within 1 hour drive from the hotel. We booked all-inclusive service but didn't take advantage of the lunch because we were always outside during lunch hours. They serve coffee and cakes in the afternoon before dinner. Alcoholic drinks (wine, beer) were included but we didn't take any. We don't drink. The dinner is not great but not too bad either. It has a big parking area. I imagine it must be very busy in winter months during ski season. We came with 2 small dogs.

No coffee/tea maker in the room. It's our fault not to check in detail before booking. My daughter had been looking forward to suntan but there's no pool at the hotel. No fitness center either. It's a mountain hotel so not much options for things to do within walking distance if you don't like hiking or eating. No table in the room where I can work/study.

Great, modern, friendly place with unlimited cable car rides

Second time in this hotel, still great quality, and the inclusion of unlimited cable car rides is greatly appreciated, especially by a 5-year old (don't underestimate this, it would cost a fortune otherwise). Food quality is good, though the variety could be improved a little bit. Rooms are great, modern, stylish, separate toilet is appreciated.

A dreamy vacation at Nassfeld

We just woke up from the dreamy vacation at Almhotel. I can promise you that this is the best choice you'll make. The location is amazing- just 5 min from Italy and 1 hour from Slovenia. You get the +card holiday which gives you so many attractions for free. A chairlifht is located just 2 min from the hotel. The views are breathtaking and there are so many lakes with crystal clear water. The service was just perfect- there is a great team at the reception and at the dining room. A huge thanks to Stephan who helped us every day to plan the trips. His knowledge was priceless and he was so friendly and nice. At the dining room we got a special dishes for the kids and for us. They made an effort so we could enjoy our meals. We are a family with 2 toddlers and we couldnt find better place for them. A lot of cows outside, a big playground, an indoor play room and so much more. We'll definitely come back! Thank you for everying❤️

The dinner concept was OK except the drinks. Bassiclay the hotel is charging for tap water 2€, for Orange Juice(which was 95 water and 5% something like orange) 4.5€ (bigger glass). And they should offer a bit more options for the dinner.

Very nice hotel directly at the runs of nassfeld

Breakfast was varied and sufficient. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. The room was very nice, big enough and modern furnished. The room was very clean. A Parkingplace is in front of the hotel. There is a room for the skis and boots. The entrance to the runs is directly at the hotel, so you can start with skiing after only some metres.

Exceeded my expectations!

Big and clean room with big and clean bathroom. Nice little balcony with beautiful view. The buffet was very extensive, and they have a nice terrace for dining. We loved the welness part with sauna, hammam, showers and chill area; Perfect after a long day of hiking! The location is awesome. Stayed here in september so prices were pretty low.

The restaurant staff is not super friendly, we also asked to have breakfast earlier (7 instead of 7:30) because of the long hike ahead and we were standing before a closed door, even if they agreed to open a bit earlier the evening before. Other than that nothing comes to mind, really. Wouldn't pay the full price is february for this room, but the pricing was superb for a much needed stop during our Karnicher Högeweg hike.

Beautiful surroundings, great with kids - kids can enjoy the playground and the several different chairlifts that are included in the room rate. Breakfast and dinner is good quality, though more of the "generic" kind suitable for families - expect things like burgers, fish&chips, goulash etc. instead of lobster thermidor. The room was nice and modern, with a separate toilet and bathroom. Staff was helpful.

A fridge in the room would be nice. The hotel is full of families and kids, which was fine for us but it can be a bit crowded and noisy during meal times, so not really suitable for romantic getaways.

Od začátku až do konce pobytu jsme byli nadšeni jak z ubytování tak z personálu s neskutečně gastronomickým zážitkem. Užili jsme si nejhezčí svátky včetně Štědrého dne. Urcite tento hotel navštívíme znova. Sjezdovka přímo u hotelu a perfektně vybavená lyžárna. Pokoj nádherný, prostorný, čistý. Nemáme co vytknout. Dekujeme celému personálu za úžasný pobyt.
