Lovely people and atmosphere. I booked smallest room but I loves the hotels vibe. I ll stay again if I come back to Vienna.

This was, by my estimate, my fifteenth stay at the hotel. I already knew that it was conveniently located close to public transport and Vienna's city centre, that the staff were friendly, and that the room would be clean. In these respects, my expectations were met. Nevertheless, there is a certain "but" that makes me fear this visit may have been my last stay at the hotel.

There are two things that disappointed me about this stay: 1. I made the reservation for summer 2026 in July 2025 and chose the non-refundable rate. At the time, I accidentally selected August instead of July. I immediately contacted the hotel and asked whether the dates could be corrected. In the Booking.com chat, the hotel replied that this would be possible, but that I needed to make the request directly by email. When I did so, I received a refusal from another member of the hotel staff. When I pointed out that the date change had already been promised to me and asked why it was now being denied, I received another negative response. I could understand such a refusal if I had requested the change only a month or a few days before arrival, or if I had wanted to cancel the booking altogether, but I requested a date change A FULL YEAR IN ADVANCE. I believe that as a long-standing, returning guest, I could have expected a more customer-friendly approach. For that reason, this was most likely my last stay at this hotel, and next time I visit Vienna, I will be looking for accommodation elsewhere. 2. Based on the photos shown during booking, the room was offered in two versions. One was a renovated room with a fully accessible walk-in shower separated by a glass partition (I had actually stayed in this type of room before), while the other was the older version with a traditional shower cubicle raised above floor level. During morning check-in, I was assigned room 216. However, when I returned later in the afternoon to collect my key, the receptionist informed me that I had been moved to room 316, explaining that it was a better room. It was not. I was given a room with a raised shower cubicle and without lockable wardrobes. OK, I still got what I booked. But who knows, if room 216 was not the modernised room?

Breakfast was same for all days but they helped us with chicken separately as most of the meet was beef

nice place, has an interesting design, combining an old building flair with a modern touch - It is clean, and well situatated, very close to metro and tram

from the side of the hotel, all good
