Value for money and a highly recommended hotel apartment

The staff. I stayed at hyatt regency Galleria before moving into the hotel apartment. The staff at the hotel apartment was much more courteous and kind. It made our overall trip wonderful. The check-in staff, the morning and night security guards, the room cleaning staff, they all were well trained. Lots of new places around the property have opened up for drive through, such as shake shack etc.

I had a huge car and parking to enter was okay but parking to leave as a little tight but security helped with allowing me to leave through the entry zone to make life easier as the vehicle was rented

This was great value for the money.

On the first day, the white socks of my daughter and wife went dark, which means the floor was probably not washed with clean water. After notifying the management, the cleaners immediately fixed this situation, and the floor was then properly cleaned every day.

Disappointing Stay – Poor Maintenance and Unresolved Issues

The apartment was spacious, and the location was convenient, being close to the metro station. The rooftop pool was clean and well-maintained, and although small, the gym was decent.

I had high expectations for this accommodation, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. From the first day, I noticed several issues: the shower was leaking, the bathroom tap was loose, and there was no hot water in the main bathroom or kitchen. After reporting these problems to the reception, they sent someone for repairs, but even after 30 minutes of work, the water heater in the kitchen was still not functional. The next day, I realized that I couldn't change the temperature of the AC—it was stuck at 23.6°C, which was too cold for me. When I spoke to the reception, I was told that it was working fine, even though it clearly wasn’t. Their final "solution" was to turn it off entirely, which did nothing to actually fix the issue. To make matters worse, one evening after returning from a desert safari, I entered the apartment to find that the AC had been set to 17°C and the hot water had been turned off. I had to wait nearly an hour just to take a shower. Additionally, the main bathroom has no ventilation, as the fan simply does not work. Comfort was another letdown—the bed and pillows were not comfortable, and the soundproofing was nonexistent. You can hear everything from outside as if the windows were open, even when they are closed. The place itself is large and has potential, but it is clear that it is old and not well-maintained. While the staff were polite, the sheer number of problems made my stay frustrating. To top it off, they hold a 300 AED deposit as collateral for damages until checkout, which felt unnecessary given the state of the place. Overall, I cannot recommend this accommodation.
