Wonderful calm small scale stay!

Wonderful family hotel with comfortable beds and very nice host incl staff. Quiet and safe. Great parking. Some 20 min walking to down town (downhill and reverse) but well worth the steps! We spent some lovely afternoons by the pool as well on the balcony combined with driving to smaller beaches and villages down the coast line. Big beach in Raphael/Frejus is also nice and within 20min walking. Highly recommended!

Great experience.

The staff was wonderful, always ready to help and accomodate all the needs. The rooms were much better than expected with personal space to smoke, hand clothes and drink coffee. The rooms were clean, included everything we needed. Could accomodate even more people.

Nice stay in St. Raphael

The staff was really nice and we thought that all in all it was very good value for the low price.

The only slightly negative thing was that the room we had was really really small. The size was stated before booking, so we knew beforehand, but when we got there we could only open one suitcase at once and on the bathroom there was no door, just a curtain, because there is so little space. I think they should only let 1 person to book that particular room and no couples.

Very nice place for relaxing close to the center of St.Raphael

Very nice classical villa (constructed 1898) with large garden and swimming pool. Our rooms were comfortable and quiet (despite the street passing by). Great breakfast on the beautiful terrace under the shadow of old trees. Very friendly and helpful owner. When the six of us arrived a bit late in the evening after a long bicycle trip, he offered us a lift to town with his car (actually two trips because we were six), so that we still could have dinner at a restaurant.

Great holiday and hotel Saint Raphael

Lovely, clean and newly decorated room . Hotel attracts guests from all over Europe. The property was a delightful mixture of old and new. The staff were very helpful, attentive and friendly. It's a nice walk down to the town or to the beaches and there are some lovely quiet beaches/ coves

Honestly nothing. Wouldn't recommend it.

At check-in the staff was rather unfriendly. Small apartment and verry small bed. The sheets were not quite clean. The air conditioning and the room had an unpleasant smell (maybe the filter of the air condition was dirty). The toilet door was not really a door and didn´t closed proper. It seems that the bad smell came from mold, but with a lot of chemical spray they thought it will get better, but this wasn´t the case at all. We are both really slim but the bed was not built for 2 grown ups, it was too small. The blankets were dirty. The whole structure is rather old, the garden a little unkempt and there were a lot of mosquitoes. ATTENTTION the hotel require 250 Euro deposit on arrival and be sure the owner makes use of it, if he can. We asked as we checked out, If everything is ok and offered as well to check together the apartment, we got the verbal agreement everything is good and become back the deposit of 250€ in the next days. Unfortunately it wasn't like that. Check together with the owner if everything is ok, otherwise, you might expect a nasty surprise like in our case (But even that is no guarantee that you will get the full deposit back). A nice holiday feels different. To your answers below: Sorry, but you write wrong things in your reply on my valuation of your "Hotel"! (in point 1/ 4/ 4/ 5/ 6/)! And I don't voluntarily removed the badge. I send the badge immediately by post. You say you still haven't received anything? I do not believe that! You took advantage of the situation and deducted the money from the deposit.

Excellent stay, can't fault anything.

The staff were friendly, room and bathroom very clean and tidy. Excellent shower. Our room was light and airy with a balcony. Good air conditioning and comfortable bed. Swimming pool very pleasant.

We had thought the hotel was within easy walking distance of St Raphael centre but that was our misinterpreting the info on the property details. I would have liked a mirror on the dressing table so I could sit and do my hair and makeup but that's just a personal preference.

Very good

Boutique hotel with a good parking lot (gated) and nice outdoor areas. The pool is good and warmed up by the sun, so chilly early summer. The balcony of the room had seating, so had wine here. Soundproofed window. Good working AC. Bed comfy.

No elevator, which I knew. But important to note. And the stairs creaks so loudly I thought someone was inside the room. Thin doors so you hear walking and talking. Not posible to borrow a water boiler.

Not enough towels we’re provided for all of us. No coffee or tea in the room. No way to charge electric car. Access after dark was tricky, no outdoor lights and our room was around the back in a detached building. Otherwise, it was great!

The room was very nice. It looked beautiful. The bathroom was of good size and facilities and amenities are very good. The shower included a rainshower. Overall I recommend staying here.

Owner over-charged us and did not reimburse us.

Owner over-charged us and then came up with all kinds of excuses not to give the money back. At first he said it was late, then that he did not have access to the terminal, then that his wife was the only one who could reimburse us...Still waiting for my reimbursment.

I did not like the fact that the owner did not reimburse what he overcharged us.
