Novotel Massy Palaiseau

Breakfast was vey good, lots of choice, high quality food, nice restaurant. Location close to the highway is also really useful if you are on the go. There is a garden, with a terrace and a (small) swimming pool. Useful for electric vehicles are one slow charger and four fast chargers on their parking place.

The welcome at reception was poor, as they insisted on a deposit of the full amount plus 100 euros. They refused banking cards and Apple Pay for this and insisted on using a credit card. Luckily, my partner had one. Then they could not provide any formal receipt of the payment of the deposit. Also my charging card that works everywhere in Europe was declined at the car chargers, it finally worked using a Shell charging card. Our room was not cleaned after the first night and day. During breakfast the personnel had a nasty, enduring and loud debate which didn’t help the atmosphere. Last day early morning all four family members were awakened by the cleaning lady that stepped into our room while we were still asleep. This behaviour should never happen in a hotel.

The staff were very friendly. Breakfast was amazing.

Rooms were a bit dated.

Fantastic breakfast and staff were impeccably kind and accommodating.

Good location for travel on the motorways. Breakfast was pretty good. Parking area is secure. Rooms and facilities are good enough for a one night stop over.

There are currently roadworks outside the hotel, it would have been helpful if the hotel had put up better signage to indicate route specifically for the hotel. Rooms are a bit dated, but ok.
