Comfortable bed and friendly reception staff

Inattentive restaurant staff. One waiter deposited a bottle on our table (which we had not ordered) and didn’t look at us. Then he turned and knocked over his entire tray; bottles and glasses smashed on the floor. He simply sauntered off in search of a dustpan and brush leaving me to carefully remove my sandal and remove the glass shards in my foot. I had to ask to be reseated at another table. I also requested an apology. I received none though they knocked 15% off the bill.

Good position on route to south west. Food good at breakfast and dinner. Free refills of fresh and sparkling water.

Rooms dated and smelt strongly of smoke, particularly in the bathrooms.

Beds were still excellent - very large and very comfortable.

€8.50 for a pint of beer was too much as was €21 for a chicken salad. Basically the majority of the menu was not available so was left with little choice but to order a chicken salad and 2x beers - €38… crazy!!

Absolutely lovely hotel, well located for what we needed which was access to the Le Mans Race Circuit, great facilities, including a lovely pool which our son enjoyed, nice restaurant with exceptional cuisine. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable and tastefully decorated. We will definitely return to this hotel and would recommend to anyone.

The restaurant has very nice food. Nice play corner for the children. The pool is excelent! The room was large enough and comfortable. Breakfast exceptional! Water to take is very apreciated.

Seemed like it needed a good refresh, old and musty smell, the rooms were not in great condition compared to other Novotel. The poor area could do with a refurb and a refresh.

One day our bed was not made. My wife had a gluten free mean in the restaurant and immediately reacted as it clearly was not. Small pool which was dominated by kids playing ball games so not useable.

Lift was poor. Room a bit tired and little amount of toilet paper. No breakfast tea in room.

Expensive breakfast . Cooked items looked unattended and unedible, poor selection, 1 small toaster that didn’t work properly. Safe in room didn’t work.

Clean and tidy with simple and quick check in.

Poor breakfast with tasteless Bacon and eggs but good variety of pastries and fruit. WiFi was not working and no update/interest or apology from staff...

Breakfast was quite expensive if I remember well. Found a nice bakery not too far for excellent and cheaper breakfasts.

This hotel let down the whole Accord hotel chain. We had stayed in the Bordeaux Novotel the night before and this was great so we booked here expecting to find the same standard. It failed in every aspect!. We arrived around 4.00pm and went to the reception 'shelf'. The man behind the desk did not even acknowledge us. He responded with mutter when I said 'Bonjour'. He kept is standing there for at least five minutes with no communication before a second member of staff arrived. She also said nothing to us. We both speak French so the language was not an issue for them or us. Eventually a very nice member of staff came by to check us in. No one told us that their internet was down so we could not access it. The room smelt really dank, damp and musty. It was supposed to be a superior king room but unlike the Bordeaux hotel it had none of the little treats in the fridge. It was grim. The air con was completely inadequate. We went to the bar and I ordered a G&T. The barman poured the gin and then added a small amont of tonic from a large open bottle of tonic and charged me 11€. I queried this as the previous hotel had only charged 8€. He then took away 3€ as I had not been given a bottle of tonic. However the tonic he had used was completely flat so the drink was undrinkable. The very nice member of staff replaced the drink for me with a fresh bottle of tonic. When we came to order a second drink we were told that the barman was on a break and would be back in ten minutes!!! We were speechless! The lounge was poorly furnished. All the seats were old and shabby and far too low to seat elderly or infirm guests. Most of the staff looked bored and disinterested with the exception of the lovely staff member who helped us.So sorry I do not know her name. The meal was adequate, but no menu de jour was available.

Staff very helpful, and spoke excellent English so I didn't need to.struggle with my rudimentary French!. Although the pool is small it was very good to have a quick swim. Lots of little children were obviously enjoying the water too.

Sink blocked! And fridge light started to flash at 6 am! I am sure if we were due to say another night these problems would have been resolved

Reception area and bar/restaurant area were really nice. Dinner was really good. Breakfast was continental but yummy nonetheless. Staff were friendly and polite.

The room was grim, in real need of updating and the outside of the property looks filthy. €200 deposit taken for dinner, but dinner wasn’t that expensive - €90 for a family of 3 - so not sure why the deposit was so high. Was given straight back at check out. Just a bit of shock that’s all. Also had to pay €5 city tax on departure. Keep your receipt for anything you pay for as I’m not sure the systems are kept well updated.

Rooms were smelly and fire alarm went off early in the morning because of toast apparently. Beds were rock hard

Liked the interior. Good variety for breakfast. Nice shower.

The outside looks awful and run down. Luckily the interior is much better. Astounding high prices for drinks at the bar...... Really would have liked tea and coffee sachets in the room to use the kettle for.....

Hotel a little tired and needs to be ‘aired’ as the rooms smelt old and could probably do with a refresh. Pool was closed which we were aware of, but it was 21c all week so disappointing they couldn’t open it a week or two early! Reception and bar area was funky in a race way, and car park semi secure. Novotel need to stay ahead of competition as sharper hotels at less money out there. Staff were exceptional and worked well to make you feel welcome - they made up for the lack of investment. Food plates - need to be scrubbed before they hit the dish washer please.🙏🏽

Reception areas was a large table beside a child’s play area. Foul smell from sink in bathroom permeated bedroom. Didn’t have breakfast as was 20€ each!

something has to be done about the staircase!!!! and it’s urgent!!!! the elevator was out of service so we were forced to take the stairs which should have been no big deal, only 2 stories. but oh, the stench! the carpet was so stained and old and they poured some perfume on it so that it smelled exactly like those outdoor plastic public toilets we had a few years back… horrific. we made a contest each time to see if we could hold our breath until second floor. this kind of thing never happened to me, I promise I am no delicate flower. but it was really this bad!!! the second thing is the restaurant. very expensive breakfast at 19 euros per person, not enough plates, you had to wait almost 10 min for the staff to bring some more, not enough food either, more waiting... guys, you don’t receive so many people if you cannot feed them! and 49 euros for 2 adults and a 8yo child is abusif!

Clean and quiet place

The fold out bed was missing a slat. Found out at midnight, this made for a very uncomfortable sleep.

Location was great. Parking was good. Hotel in good condition .
