Stopover on way home from Spain

Second time of staying here on our travels. Easy location, good parking and the receptionist very friendly. We stayed in a room that had been semi-upgraded, previously we have a shower unit, this time we had a shower over the bath. Preferred the other room. The lighting in the main room was not tip top but adequate.

The shower over the bath worked with two shower heads. We were unable to turn one off. The lighting in the main room could have been better.

Good stay for overnight stop enroute to Spain

The room we stayed in had been upgraded since our last visit. There was no longer a bath with a shower overhead but a shower cubicle. Much better and a good shower. The rooms felt slightly bigger due to the removal of the entrance "lobby" but it still lacked a table and chair for eating at. We luckily had our own and brought these into the room. Once again we at the back of the hotel, which is very quiet but the car park is further away and it caused my husband to be concerned regarding the car overnight. We did not eat at the restaurant as we wanted to get an early start.

I felt the bed was okay but not as comfortable as I have had in previous hotels. The air conditioning was also hard to operate and it was quite chilly in the room.

Great for an overnight stay en-route to Spain.

This hotel was located next door to Burger King, ideal to grab a bite to eat although the hotel did have it's own restaurant. There was plenty of parking available, including a specific area for vans and lorries. It was tricky to locate but that could have been due to us taking a couple of wrong turns! Would rebook when travelling to Spain again.

Our room was back facing but we were not there for the views so in the end this was not an issue.

Restaurant menu choice very restricted. No wine or alcohol available. Breakfast also very limited. Have stayed here several times before and this was not usual.

not bad size, had the basics you needed, bed was very comfy

was so noisy, you could hear people in the room above when they would walk around, when they flushed their toilet it sounds like they are in your bathroom, not very clean

the price

we were moved from one room to another because the door wouldn’t lock only to get a room which also had a dodgy door which had to be slammed to shut.Not good when taking dogs out at unsociable hours ! There was an ant problem in the room. The restaurant was shut which meant we had to brave the streets of Le Mans to get food , not a pleasant experience !
