Very comfortable hotel with friendly staff

The hotel is well located when arriving by motorway and there is a large free parking. The bed is super comfy and breakfast has a huge choice and friendly staff.

Some of the furniture is a bit dated, but everything is clean and functinnal.

Very spacious, comfortable and clean hotel, good free parking and great staff.

Great location for travelling the Autoroute past Grenoble and stopping overnight, easy to find not far from the autoroute. Spacious, clean and lots of free on site parking. Staff were welcoming throughout and helpful. Bar was good, with lovely Viognier! Restaurant produced a good standard of food, although menu maybe limited for people with personal food preferences and dietary requirements, (Menu is coded) however staff very helpful and accommodating and know their menu and ingredients well. So a work around was possible.

Nothing really! Limited menu wasn’t helpful for me personally, but husband perfectly happy. Good food.

Clean hotel, helpful staff, however the room was too hot and the AC didn't function well.

The location is convenient and close to the city centre, with on-site free parking. The hotel features modern decor, and the rooms have a pleasant atmosphere with warm, cosy lighting. The rooms were clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The room remained warm even with the air conditioning on, as the cool air did not circulate effectively. Although the mattress was comfortable, the mattress protector made the bed feel hot and sticky. The pillows were too soft, the duvet was too thick for the summer weather, and the sheets were not particularly soft. A topsheet would have been a welcome addition, giving guests the option to remove the duvet. Unfortunately, we did not sleep well, which was especially disappointing, as we had an important appointment with a very early start the next morning.

Comfortable. Chose a site outside the city centre deliberately, slept well, close to motorway to continue my trip. Friendly staff

Restaurant was closed at the weekend (which is hidden in the small print only if you go looking for that info / I only found out by a message from the hotel 2 days before and they refused to let me cancel even though I had booked it because of the reviews on booking.com). Smaller list of dishes available but small portions for the price and no other options in the neighbourhood …

The check-in was terrible, took 30 minutes. Credit card transmitter worked not properly, so after driving 12h from the Netherlands, we were tired at 0:15. The night porter was stricktly instructed not to allow check-in without paying, despite our reservation by booking.com. After that explanation he wanted to charge us the double price, because we could take breakfast without paying for it. The management of this hotel makes the choice of the be very sure that guests pay their bill and not trusting their guests. As a guest member of the Accor group hotels for years, I feel this Mercure is a shame for the brand.

Mooi groot hotel in een nette buitenwijk van Grenoble.

Hotel Mercure Grenoble Meylan ligt in een buitenwijk van Grenoble. Met de bus ben je in 10/15 minuten in het centrum. De auto kun je gratis parkeren op de grote parkeerplaats van het hotel. Vanuit het hotel zit je snel op de grote weg/snelweg. De kamer was ruim met 2 goede aparte bedden. In de hoek was een bureau. De kamer had airco, een kluisje en een koelkastje. Het ontbijt was netjes verzorgt, oa met crêpes die je zelf kon warm maken. Grenoble is een mooie uitval basis voor verschillende activiteiten in de Franse Alpen.

Het hotel ligt in een nette buitenwijk van Grenoble tegen een industrie terrein aan. De locatie is minder aantrekkelijk. Helaas had de kamer geen balkon.

Het ontbijt en diner waren erg goed. Personeel was vriendelijk. Goede bedden. Ligt vlakbijde snelweg.

Uitzicht vanuit de kamer was minder. We keken uit op een dak.
