The breakfast was nice with good selection, and excellent coffee, and some of the staff were friendly and helpful.

Room was called a Privilege room, but it wasn’t! Very hot and no air con, so had to keep the window open but then disturbed by noisy revellers shouting and screaming until around 2am, traffic noise was also a problem and early morning deliveries were noisy with van man having his radio on very loud! The duvet was badly stained and clearly needed replacing, just awful. The on-site restaurant food was just acceptable and can’t be recommended. Trying to explain this to the reception when asked if we had enjoyed our stay next morning was dismissed out of hand and no evidence of customer care evident. No parking on-site.

Pretty worn out hotel

Location right by the Mosel and the old town. Nice helpfull staff.

Was offered a better/bigger room, if that was the case I am glad I didn't see the other one. My room was small, facing to the yard with very noisy ventilation, and aircon could hardly keep the room temperated. Bed was fine but pillow hard and the sheets very synthetic making you sweet a lot. No private parking at the hotel, but was offered to park my motorbike close to the front door, which was fine but not safe. Nothing happened though.

The air conditioning is centrally controlled and therefore could not be turned on in the room and it was hot. Window open was not an option with the traffic from the city driving by below. The decoration of the hotel and the hotel rooms do not have the allure of 4 stars. Maybe 3 stars. The service at the front desk is worth the 4 stars though, because they want to make you as comfortable as possible.

Pleasant

First of all, the staff of the mercure is amazing! :) The location is as good as it gets, but also as bad as it gets if your room is facing the main street. Other than that, very convenient with a restaurant and a bar right next to the hotel and everything else in walking distance. Breakfast was great. The Hotel is already a bit older and the rooms as well as the window isolation would need a redo.

Noisy street, windows and curtains don't block the street noisy and are not really isolated against the cold. I assume this all will be sorted once the economy allows it.

Almost everything. Unfriendly and bad service. Bad food Very unconfortable bed, old mattresses like hanging mats. Window frames that don't close well, entering a lot of cold.. Etc..

-Présence de chauffage d'appoint dans la chambre (le chauffage central semblait ne pas fonctionner). Bien sûr au moins il faisait chaud mais c'était un peu bizarre -Coffre-fort placé trop haut -Les œufs brouillés au petit déjeuner étaient du 'pudding' certainement des œufs en poudre reconstitués : vraiment dommage c'est ce que je préfère quand je dors à l'hôtel...

La propriété au niveaux de la salle de bain était pas vraiment parfaite, je ne demande pas non plus à avoir un sol immaculée mais les traces dans les coins à l'intérieur du toilettes noir et brune visible lors de mon bain, et les trace au coin de la baignoire laisse à désirer
