Great for business trips

Nice hotel with good food and comfortable rooms

For business trips it is perfect nothing to say. For romantic trips I would recommend other hotels

Lovely building, poor staff attitude and training.

Room was comfortable and clean, with just a few of those really irritating issues that plague hotels... e.g. take a bath, and you have to stand up to reach he soap dispenser. Overall fine though, and fitted-out to a good standard - but then plastic-lined paper cups to drink tea and coffee from. Environmental and customer comfort FAIL.

The first item on the menu in reception was a vegan dish, so we agreed to book a table when we checked in without looking too much further. When we went to eat - too late to be want to go elsewhere - we discovered that there was NOTHING else on the menu not involving meat, When we asked the responses were pretty much "we can do you a plate of vegetables" - but they would not be drawn to give further information. Customer service from waitress, supervisor, and reception staff was universally dismissive, and at no point did anyone apologise for the lack of any alternative items on the menu. A nice hotel, but be aware that of you don't eat meat you can't eat here.

Disappointing for the cost

Not much really. The bathroom was old and the toilet was disgusting. There were cobwebs in the room. We were told we had to have room service for breakfast which was very average. The girls on reception were helpful though. The food in the restaurant was very average too.

Get down early for breakfast!

Room was cool. Liked the mezzanine set up. Lots of space

We were told that breakfast served until 10am but when we arrived at 9.30, everything was being cleared away. I asked for a bowl for yoghurt and I was told to use a plate!

Breakfast was okay although not the best continental that I have experienced. More hot breakfast options would have been welcomed and larger coffees.

Beautiful hotel, in a relaxing environment.

Lovely public areas, particularly the terrasses and pool area. The hotel is beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. Friendly, competent staff. Large car park.

Although we enjoyed our meal and the waiting staff were friendly and attentive, we felt that the food was not as high a standard as one would expect from a hotel of this quality and price.

Very good clean hotel with excellent levels of comfort.

Very clean and large rooms with a very comfortable king size bed. Great facilities, nice clean swimming pool and a good sports room and sauna (which we didn't try but just looked at). Supermarkets and even a bar close to the hotel. The shower was great and the air conditioning worked very well. The room was quiet and we slept well.

14 euros for a pint of IPA in the bar is steep even by Paris standards, but at least they have IPA. Also the coffee capsules in the hotel room weren't replenished after we used them on the first day. The fridge wasn't very big and didn't seem to cool what we put in it to any great extent. Minor criticisms all the same, and we would certainly stay again at the rate we paid.

Great holiday destination, and lovely place to relax

Great pool and lovely area to relax. Lovely staff. We loved the breakfast, loads to choose from, bacon eggs, sausage, fruits and pastries. Our room was lovely, turndown service each day too. Grateful to have a small fridge in the room for some fresh milk for my child. Towels provided for the pool. The tram to Nantes is a 7 minute walk and €7.20 (15 minutes) return for 2 adults. The same tram can take you to Châteaubriant (50 minutes) the other way for around €26 return for 2 adults We had a wonderful stay and would go back again!

You can’t control the air con, and it ran a little hot for me. But I’m being super picky!

Management made no extra effort to facilitate rugby guests by extending their hours to provide food / dining and breakfast. We were starving !

lovely little break away for an extended weekend in France

loved the fact the pool has a cover so the children can play in any weather. we had a lovely refurbished room as well, it looks like they are refurbishing all of the rooms at the moment and they move your booking into one of the new rooms where possible! the best part of all was the waiter Akram! what a gentleman. he could not do enough for you. so genuine and kind and considerate. his mother raised him very well and she should be proud! my kids absolutely adored him and said he deserves a big pay rise!!

the sun beds don’t recline so you can’t lay flat which is a little bit annoying. you can’t lay on your front on these beds or lie flat on your back. I feel like some low volume music outside is also needed for a bit of atmosphere

Pleasant stay, comfortable and reasonable hotel.

The room was comfortable, with plenty of space for 3 people. Meals are good and generous yet reasonable, and can be ordered in the room. No problems with noise.

The baby bed was very worn out. Extra baby equipment wasn't available, despite being mentioned on the "available upon request" equipment list. Bed sheets weren't changed between the two nights of our stay.

Superb

The restaurant was excellent and did a really good job when we were there. I thought the bar was nice as well but could use more beer selections. The hotel and rooms are showing a little age and could likely use some remodeling in the future but overall where very clean and nice.
