I am allergic to feather down so this disrupted my sleep. However I called reception and they were very prompt with bringing me alternative pillows.

Good size of the room for a couple. The breakfast is great, lots of choices and staff are very pleasant, polite and helpful. The room we stayed is clean, quiet and comfortable temperature.

I am pleased with the stay and meet my expectations. I am happy with the comfort of the hotel and convenience of the location. I was offered free parking space and this is great, thank you. May be free parking should have been included for guests staying overnight?

We will definitely be back!!

From the minute we arrived the staff were so friendly and helpful. My wife is disabled and they were kind enough to make a space for bus to park at the front. The room was spotless. And has everything we needed, my wife loved the full range of toiletries provided. We had a meal in the restaurant which was delicious. Everyone we met were really happy and couldn't do more than to make our stay perfect. The spa was exactly what we needed the next day after driving the day before. We loved every minute of our stay and will book next time we use the airport!

We transferred to the Hilton near Wokingham. Thank you for arranging the transfer.

We cannot rate this property as we did not stay there, therefore the number is irrelevant. .

The electricity was not working when we arrived, there was no food available or hot drinks. The washroom facilities were only accessible with a torch. We avoided the alcohol and asked for a transfer to the Hilton St Anne’s Manor near Wokingham. The hotel did not appear to have procedures in place for a serious power cut.

Good hotel and lovely staff

The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool is small but clean and the changing facilities are very good. The hotel is clean and well kept.

The pool is a shared pool with the public which was not mentioned at booking I don’t remember. The cot they supplied for my 6 month old was too small and the next thing they had was a full size bed, this was extremely disappointing.

Shower over bath. Would have liked walk in shower. When I unfolded one of the bath towels it was dirty. In fact it had excrement on it . Called reception for replacement. Took quite some time.. Staff apologised but not really anything done by way of making up for it. Expensivereakfast and parking

Over all amazing and I will definitely stay again

The hotel was stunning from the moment I walked in I loved the decor. The staff was polite friendly and very helpful. I had food at the cafe and it was exceptional, I was recommended what to get and every bite was an exploration of flavour.

Patient receptionist at check in. Comfortable, large beds. Variety of convenient lighting options. Clean bathroom with lovely C&E toiletries. Warm-but-not-too-warm room. Complimentary drinks including thoughtful choices of herbal teas (but no hot milk drinks for non tea and coffee drinkers). Sunday afternoon/night seemed quiet and calm. Shoe polisher machine - if only I'd had time to use it before heading off to work!

Hum of heating system. Another time(?!) might take sachets of Ovaltine, Horlicks or similar and activities for non-TV, non-swimmer guests. Scrabble, anyone?

Very disappointing stay

We are not disabled but were given a room for the disabled. At check-in we ordered a wake-up call for 9am the following morning. No call was made so we missed breakfast by 10 minutes, which had been prepaid. We were offered free parking (worth£15) as compensation which is not the same thing at all. Not to be able to have breakfast at 9.40am in this day and age is unacceptable.

The room was very clean and well equipped. Food was good and the hotel staff were very helpful, friendly and accommodating. The usual high standard from Hilton Hotels.

The staff in the gym/health club were unhelpful and a bit rude. This was disappointing as the rest of the experience at the hotel was great.

A perfect mix of comfort, great service, and an excellent breakfast made our stay at the Hilton Reading truly enjoyable.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Hilton Reading. The room was nice and clean, and the hotel overall felt well looked after. It’s probably one of the better Hilton hotels we’ve stayed at. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our visit. Highly recommended!

The only downside was the £15 overnight parking fee, which feels unreasonable for guests, especially given the hotel isn’t in a central location.

Very Disappointing Stay

Breakfast had a good selection. Pool temperature. Robes and slippers provided. Bus stop & convenience shop a couple of minutes walk away.

Unhelpful reception staff and Manager. Cramped, dated scruffy room (deluxe twin). I had to clean & move furniture around to make it usable. No family rooms. 3rd bed was a camp bed type - very uncomfortable. View of busy junction. Traffic noise. No balconies. Coffee from in room coffee machine was disgusting. Not enough room on desk for all the clutter places there by hotel. Some lights & switches did not work. Only basic Freeview TV channels. No mini bar. Bathroom extractor fan did not work. Carpets in room needed a deep clean. Room smelt of stale cigarette smoke. Scuffs and marks on walls. £15 ps carpark charge. Under 16s must have an adult in water with them (pool depth 1.2m). Pool small. Limited opening hours. Outside terrace area was just a few tables for smokers next to busy road. No concierge. Restaurant smelt strongly of fish for the entire stay. Hotel corridors smelt stale and carpets looked grubby. Set on edge of a housing estate. Cost £189 for a small twin room with extra folding bed, buffet breakfast included. Not a luxury hotel. Not up to Hinton standard in facilities or service. Not even as good as a Travelodge (minus the chandelier and pool) If staying in Reading try the Premier Inn or Holiday Inn instead.
