Ligt aan een drukke baan, maar weinig last van op de kamer die wij hadden. Het hotel heeft hier en daar wat verfraaiingswerken, herstellingen nodig: planken rond het zwembad die niet meer goed liggen, versleten stoelen op het balkon. Voor een 4-sterrenhotel moet dit eigenlijk in orde zijn. Het diner moest heel snel gaan: je kon een saladebuffet halen, maar terwijl je dit at stond men daar al met het voorgerecht. Luidruchtig tijdens de maaltijden.

Some of the positives of Hotel Salvadori are conventional good things. The spa facilities are amazing, three different saunas, one with great views of the mountains of Sasso Rosso, an indoor and outdoor pool, jacuzzis, the lot. The breakfast bar is a wide-ranging cornucopia. And the staff are very helpful, and very willing to let me practice Italian. But it was the slightly less expected things that made it really special. First, there's an EV charging slot - a rare thing in the mountains - with reasonable unit rates and the hotel minibus regularly parked in front to stop petrol cars parking there. Second, the seating. Everywhere you look, there's somewhere comfortable to sit, usually with a choice of chairs - inside the decorative cable car, at a long table on the front lawn, in a hanging pod looking at the pond, half-a-dozen different couches and loungers in the spa, and a couple of comfy chairs if you're weary after climbing the stairs. Don't just walk past, it's worth enjoying them all! Thirdly, the afternoon tea. There's a range of sweet and savoury food laid on from three to five. I guess this is because it's a ski hotel in winter and this is when people get back hungry, but great in summer too. Oh, and the sheep.

We didn't really get on with the restaurant. We go to Italy for pizza, pasta, and a carafe of house wine, knowing that they'll all be far better than they should be. The restaurant is excellent, but it's elegant chef creations in small quantities with wine by the bottle at corresponding prices. Too good for the likes of us.

Kreativ, gesund, pur und unglaublich lecker – einfach ein Genuss für alle Sinne! Die tadellose Sauberkeit im gesamten Haus. Das tolle Spa- und Wellnessangebot. Es war perfekt zum Entspannen nach einem aktiven Tag. Für einen Ski- und Fahrradkeller mit Werkzeug. Es hat uns gezeigt, wie durchdacht hier alles ist. Und letztlich für das gesamte natürliche Ambiente im Haus.
