Sadly not what we expected

The staff were amazing, really friendly and helpful.

The location was poor, situated on the side of a very noisy main road and a long way from the ski slopes. The rooms were extremely basic, no views, with poor bathroom drainage, and overall the standard fell well short of what you would expect from a four-star hostel. I also later discovered that prices had been significantly increased for our stay, despite the property not being full, which left a particularly bad taste.

Incredible

Outstanding staff. Massimo is particularly attentive & helpful, an expert at his job, but there are many others who are great too. The spa is the nicest I've seen in a hotel, and I've seen a lot. They strike the right balance with children being allowed to swim in the pools until 18:00. Great breakfast too. The chalets are very comfortable with everything you need. Ours had a large 4-person hot tub with powerful jets, prefect after snowboarding / skiing. Plus a bath in the main bedroom, and shower in the bathroom. The Madonna di Campiglio mountain scenery is really beautiful. The snowmaking is excellent also - even though the weather was warm (above 10 degrees C during the day at the top of the mountain), there was no ice in the morning. I had to research why this is possible and it comes down to the geography (low humidity) and the fact that the resort is known for the best snowmaking in the world, with grooming at a deeper depth into the snow than many others. Every day the snow was gripping, with the exception of some narrow pistes in the shade leading into Madonna town, which I would recommend avoiding. Marillleva is old and looks a bit tired, although there are some new buildings at Marilleva 1400. Being able to leave your skis, snowboards and boots at 1400 in a locker is a great innovation - you can just come down the mountain at the end of the day in your trainers or comfortable shoes and go back up again like that in the morning - a blessing with kids especially, instead of getting them to walk in ski boots. One tip: the walking route from the hotel to Marilleva 900 is shorter than the driving route. Even with young children it's only about 10 minutes and very easy. If you sleep in and miss the hotel's private shuttle (which runs constantly back and forth from 8am to 10am and 3pm to 5pm), then just wander down there on foot.

The ski resort (i.e. up on the mountain) was not overcrowded in the Christmas week, but as soon as it turned into the next week (we were there for 10 days), it was incredibly crowded. I would not ski or snowboard there in the New Year week again, they simply sold too many lift passes relative to the facilities. Any other week, including Christmas week, no problem.

Super great place! Exceptional hospitality, great staff and owner. Very nice pool area within an outdoor heated pool. Good food and excellent wine list.

Extremely pleasant staff, very clean, great spa facilities, very good breakfast, very good dinner for an adults worth it to buy, but wouldn't recommend buy for fussy kids ... no many choices for them.

Exceptional hotel

Exceptional breakfast and dinner. We had half board. Light meal 03 - 05 pm, so perfect after day at the slopes The room was big and very clean. Shuttle to the ski lift 6 - 8 times per hour

Enjoyable

The quality of the facility is really good and very cosily. The food served in general was ok, however some details should be worked out. Ladies on the reception cash desk very helpful and amazing gentleman transfering people from hotel to the ski lift.

The fact that majority of Wellness activities are unavailable till 3 pm (I personally like to stay day or two in the hotel to relax, but simply there is not too much to do). Also there should be a small table in each room, just to put a bottle or can with the beverage.

Friendly staff, beautiful large room, super comfortable mattress and pillows and awesome spas and swimming pool.(especially the outdoor)Amazing breakfast with the ability of making fresh juice and order omelette, waffles or crepes.If skiing the location is super, only 4 min from marilleva 900 gondola (free transportation with hotel’s shuttle van).In hotel ski deposit room with heated places for ski boots .Madonna di Campiglio 20-25 min driving distance .

Our experience

These are the things i/we like in Hotel Salvadori in our 6 days stay. > The hotel has a good location > we booked a suite room with mountain view and the room is undeniably clean. > The food. In our 6days stay we included a half board meal. And the food is Amazing specially the food they served during dinner. We’ve been served all the trentino’s specialties. I personally don’t like cheese, but there i ate and love the cheese of trentino. > The staffs. All of them are all nice.

So this is the only thing i could say that I didn’t like during our trip and we hope that they could read this and would take this as a constructive review about our stay. The receptionist. I think its their job to inform every guest about all the services that we avail upon booking. Because we arrived in the hotel and they didn’t even tell us what are the services that are included in the room that we avail. One is the parking. They have a outdoor parking and a covered garage. There’s one time that the outdoor garage is already full so we parked in the covered garage. The next day we saw a note saying that the covered garage has fee and need to be payed in the reception. So my fiancé went to reception and found out that it is one of the services that’s included in our suite room. And their reason is they forgot to tell us about the parking. And its even the day before our last stay in the hotel. Its crazy. So all I’m saying is before you escort your guests in their room take time to inform or explain to all your guest all the information about the hotel services, activities etc. everthing they need to know. Because its important. But overall me and my fiancé had a great vacation. We still love Hotel Salvadori.! We still highly recommend them.

The photos of the outside pool are quite different from the truth. Looked much smaller and hotel is right by the road so not that relaxing. Was a bit green too! Inside Pool and other facilities all seemed clean and were nice. It just felt a bit overpriced overall.

To był wspaniały pobyt. Wygodne i przestronne pokoje, codziennie sprzątane i wygodne łóżka. Bardzo miły personel. Świetna obsługa kelnerska. Bardzo dobre śniadania i pyszne urozmaicone kolacje. Dostępność i uprzejmość kierowców vana podwożącego na i ze stoku również super. Przyjemna strefa spa i baseny.

Pokój mimo swoich wielu zalet miał jeden minus - było słychać każdy dźwięk z sąsiedniego pokoju, nawet spokojną rozmowę.

Een mooi luxe hotel voorzien van alle gemakken gelegen aan een drukke weg in een saai dorpje

Mooi hotel voorzien van alle mogelijke faciliteiten. Zeer uitgebreid ontbijt! Avondeten is prima. En de bediening is zeer goed. 's-Middags serveren ze heerlijke hapjes. Prachtig binnen- en buitenzwembad. Goede parkeergelegenheid (en een garage voor 5 euro per dag). Mooie grote kamers met een mooi groot balkon en voorzien van een goed bed.

In het dorpje is niets te doen. Een echt " doorrij dorp". Het hotel licht aan een drukke weg waar redelijk hard wordt gereden. Het hoofdgebouw licht aan deze drukke weg en je kan niet lekker rustig op je balkon gaan zitten zonder het drukke verkeerslawaai. Je hebt zeker een auto nodig.

Ho avuto il piacere di soggiornare presso l’Hotel Salvadori e devo dire che l’esperienza è stata eccellente sotto ogni aspetto. La struttura è curata nei minimi dettagli, elegante e allo stesso tempo accogliente. Le camere sono spaziose, pulitissime e dotate di ogni comfort. Lo staff si è distinto per professionalità e gentilezza: sempre disponibile, sorridente e pronto a soddisfare ogni esigenza. La cucina è davvero un punto di forza: piatti curati, ricchi di sapore e con ingredienti di qualità. La colazione, abbondante e varia, offre un ottimo inizio di giornata. La posizione è perfetta per chi vuole rilassarsi, ma anche come punto di partenza per escursioni e attività nei dintorni. Inoltre, la spa e la piscina rappresentano un’oasi di benessere ideale dopo una giornata all’aperto. In sintesi, un soggiorno che ha superato le aspettative: l’Hotel Salvadori è una scelta che rifarei senza esitazioni e che consiglio vivamente a chi cerca qualità, comfort e ospitalità autentica.

Fehlende Trennung von Bad und Schlafbereich (Feuchtigkeit nach dem Duschen verteilt sich im ganzen Zimmer, keine Lüftung im Badbereich) Lage direkt an der Hauptstraße (lässt sich nicht ändern, der Hof liegt immerhin dazwischen)

Le bruit des portes qui claquent à chaque fermeture lorsque l'utilisateur ne freine pas le mouvement de porte par la poignée, ce qui peut perturber le sommeil à toute heure selon le va et vient des autres usagers de l'hôtel dans leur chambre.
