This was an excellent hotel for its price. It was cyclist friendly. The staff were very helpful, and happy to speak in either French or English. The restaurant was very good value. The all-you-can-eat buffet looked perfectly fine, if that was what you wanted. We had omelettes. These were very good. Breakfast was very good value.

There was nothing to dislike, as long as you realise that this is an economy hotel.

Booked as a stop over for a family of 4 enroute to the dordogne. Locationwise it was great, and the option of having all of us in the same room with kids aged 11 and 13 who need their own bed, but not yet old enough for a room of their own, for this price, was great. The food in the restaurant was excellent.

Perhaps my own fault for not doing enough research, but when it said hotel, I did not expect to get something that felt so temporary, almost like a flatpack room or one of those converted shipping containers. It's hard to complain because of the low cost, but having stayed in another chain with a similar setup on our way back, the facilities are like chalk and cheese, and the fasthotel is definitely the chalk. The bathroom especially was small beyond belief, and as others have already said, you can hear the neighbours as though they are in your room. It is adequate as an overnight stay, but given the choice, we won't return.
