Stauntons on the Green Hotel

The garden. The barman serving me the whisky in/by the garden in the evening. The location with St Stephen's Gree Park was so uplifting especially after a strenuous retreat at the Marino Institute. The decor-the curtains, the colour, the overall ambience of the Georgian architecture was lovely to be in.

I would have preferred a more vegetarian/vegan hot breakfast dish to be offered on the hot breakfast menu. My room was a little noisy with footsteps over head at night sometimes.

Such an elegant property and room decorated with lovely and unique things and located in beautiful garden setting. The only thing I was worried about was the room being hot or stuffy in August but our 3rd floor king deluxe room had a mini split AC!! Not sure about other rooms. When walking about town you go through St Stephen’s park and it feels so quiet and calming. The bed was comfortable and they brought up a complimentary fruit/ sweet tray upon arrival. All day and evening access to coffee and at times snacks was wonderful. Would definitely recommend.

It was smaller so not as many service people but they were available at the desk for questions. The stairs up 3 floors sometimes was tiring but not too bad.

Lovely property. The back gardens were lovely and they had a very good breakfast. The room had a comfortable bed and modern bathroom.

We were in the basement.

I loved the property, the rooms, the garden and the decor is just beautiful and very cosy.

It was a hot day in Dublin…..20-23 degrees and our bedroom was absolutely roasting all night, there is no air con. We did have a fan but the temperature in the room all night was extremely uncomfortable, it was absolutely impossible to sleep. It’s my only complaint about the hotel……other than that, it’s a fabulous place to stay…..as long as it’s not too hot out.
