It was an amazing place. A whole house for yourself. They also made home made bread for us. You could get cookies and madeira wine for a few euros. And they cleaned, gave new towls, made the bed, emptied the trash and restocked toiletpaper after two days. It was very peacefull and quiet and it felt very safe. Temperature was perfect too. We liked it very much!

Wonderful stay! Gorgeous cottages set in beautiful gardens. Very private and feels like you are in the middle of nowhere, yet you are only 20 mins from Funchal. Walking distance from excellent restaurants, bars, supermarket and bakery. Levada walks direct from the property. Peacocks wandering around while we enjoyed our morning coffee. A really special place, highly recommended

It was private and easy to get to. Had most things needed for a comfortable stay. Very beautiful surroundings

Super beautiful location in Camacha a bit up the mountains. The garden around the cottage is stunning and gives a lot of peace and privacy.
The little kitchenette has all the equiment you need to cook.
The owners are very friendly and provide excellent and fast service/communication. Even the beautiful peacocks on the property come say hi at the end of the afternoon 🤭
This part of the island is a bit more humid. You will also notice this around the cottage, but the owners already provided a dehumidifier to keep the place comfortable and dry, so that's perfect.
