Location is excellent. Staff were fantastic.
Room did not have any spare power points. (We purchased a power board to be able to charge phones & watches) and no in room USB charging facilities.
No in room clock. (Not a big deal but handy to have at night so you can check the time without having to use your phone etc)
No bottled water on arrival or each day. No mini-bar, no complimentary cookies etc.
I had to bend the pins on the one power board in the room back to straight so the socket would stay engaged and work.
Shower was very difficult to get an even temperature, was either super hot or freezing cold.
No additional blankets or pillows in the room.
One of the wardrobe sections was raw plaster with no hanging etc.
At over $800 a night (just for the room!) we were disappointed. I know it was Grand Prix weekend, but still.
We have been staying at this location for the Grand Prix weekend (and other events) for over 10 years and this is the first time we have genuinely felt disappointed with the room and the cost.
Signage at the hotel indicated they have changed name/owner and will be renovating very shortly, but on this latest experience we won't be staying here again
