Lovely setting and grounds. Really comfy bed. Great breakfast with plenty of choice. Lovely staff. Nearby on site parking made it easy to transfer our bags without having to carry them too far.
As we are in our 70s an "over the bath" shower is always a challenge and a walk in shower would always be our preferred choice. Otherwise no issues

The location
The room, it was apparently the last room available, and we were ‘lucky’ to get! It was for the disabled , it was unsuitable for us, in fact if I were disabled it would have been unsuitable, it was too cramped, there was no room in the shower, there was nowhere ‘suitable’ to make a drink, the pull cord for the light in the bathroom was a nuisance & kept getting stuck in the door .
