The Elysian Boutique Villa Hotel

This place is a sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of Seminyak. The villas are comfortable and the main swimming pool is bliss.

There were mosquitos that seemed to get into our place at night.

This property is a little gem. If you are after complete peace and privacy this is your place. We’ve tried it all - privately owned villas, luxury hotels etc in Bali. We preferred this option and would return in a heartbeat. The Staff are exceptionally friendly but also give you your space. Breakfast is yummy and plentiful. Being a boutique hotel you also have the option of having breakfast delivered to your room if you don’t feel like sitting @ the restaurant which is something that the high end hotels do not offer.

As other reviewers have suggested this a boutique hotel that ticks all of the boxes for giving you want you need. It is not a luxury or five star hotel and shouldn’t be marketed as such so that people are not disappointed. It is definitely worth a four star rating and provides bucket loads of charm.

villas were spacious, clean and comfortable. pool was wonderful, really enjoyed our own private sanctuary. the staff were wonderful, they really took pride in their work and were very helpful. at one point we got a gastrointestinal virus and we’re quite sick. For a few days after the Dr had visited they were genuinely concerned for our health. we were also there for New Year’s Eve and staff went to enormous effort to make the dinner and local cultural performance special for us.

the location. it was quite stressful leaving and returning to the property. it’s location is down a narrow street, with really uneven or non-existent footpaths with loads of traffic. I was expecting to be knocked over by a motorbike or vehicle the whole time. it really put me off going out. we also found housekeeping slow to remove used room service dishes etc. we had to specifically request this on multiple occasions. the mattress on the bed was long overdue for replacement, very uncomfortable, lost its support.
