Beautiful property that has direct access to the beach (just across the road). The room was very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is one of the best I've experienced. I especially loved the variety of butters and spread for the bread (which was also great!). The pool area is huge!
Some parts of the pool water was a bit dirty (can see some debris/oily substance floating). The pool staff service can improve also.
In terms of location, it is a beautiful and quiet part of Krabi, but it is not easy to access outside restaurants (either quite a hike, or would need to rent a scooter or car).

The breakfast is a buffet with a large range of options. The pool is the largest in Thailand. Room was large and comfy. Restaurants were good - Italian and Asian. Nice spa. Beach access across the street. Good excursions - we went to Hong Island.
This isn’t a negative, just an observation. As a couple who enjoyed the privacy and ambiance at Rayavadee, the Sofitel is a larger resort hotel that caters more to families and golfers.

Love love love this place, we were only here for a couple full days but everything was amazing, the staff was so nice the pool was great, we did the phi phi boat trip and it was so very beautiful! Def coming back to Krabi and staying here again. The room was magnificent, everyone was very respectful and so very nice! 5 stars!

Food was very good
The hotel is very old and needs urgent renovation. there are just a few places with shade near the pool and absolutely no regular shade on the beach. beach beds are very uncomfortable and you have to pass the road to access the beach. hair dryer was about to dye.
