Extremely Disappointing Stay – Poor Service, Dirty Restaurant, and Double Standards This hotel was a major letdown. While the basic facilities were acceptable, the service, cleanliness, and overall guest treatment were far below standard — especially for the amount we paid. The front desk staff were rude, unhelpful, and clearly lacked training in customer service. When our flight was delayed, we asked for a late checkout. At first, they said it could be arranged based on availability. The next day, they refused to give even a 30-minute extension, blaming hotel rules. Yet VIP guests were being granted all kinds of flexibility. The double standards were blatant, and the way they treated regular guests was insulting. The room itself was just as disappointing. The ceiling fan made an unbearable noise, and our request to switch rooms was flat-out denied. The lighting was dim and depressing — definitely not what you’d expect for the price charged. It felt like we were staying in a budget hotel disguised as a premium property. To top it all off, our experience at the hotel’s Italian restaurant was disgusting. The prices were ridiculously high, and yet the table had lizard droppings, and one of the drinking glasses had lipstick stains on it. This level of hygiene is completely unacceptable and shows a shocking lack of basic cleanliness and attention to detail. This hotel clearly prioritizes VIPs and treats everyone else as second-class. For the money we spent, we expected decent service, a clean environment, and respectful treatment — none of which we received. I will absolutely not be returning and will strongly discourage others from staying here unless serious improvements are made.

Excellent location. Although food quality overall can be improved a little bit.

The system of paying for the facilities at the pool area whether it’s food or paddle surf etc is very old and archaic because it cannot be charged to the room and one has to pay in cash. The system of paying with card at the pool games area does not exist and one has to go accompanied by a staff member all the way to the concierge in the lobby. I wanted to rest at the pool while my kids played and every time they picked up a new paid activity at the pool area I had to get up and go up to pay first because I did not carry cash to the pool and there was no credit card machine available at that. And the staff member would refuse to take the payments all together at the end when one was leaving. It was extremely annoying.

Pool : fantastic.. though it closes very early :( ( at sundown , I think ) Food : very good .. Location : fantastic RESORT.. huge.. the beach is kinda small / less sand / a bit rocky .. but the property more than makes up for it . the beach is across the road ...but the hotel has a designated exit gate.. there are lots of 'local spas' around where you get a good Thai massage... there are some local cab drivers also , who give cabs at very affordable rates.. the Property is spread over a HUGE area .. and a golf course too

Very far away. Local check in staff was surprisingly unfriendly especially when they found out I booked via Booking.com

- Spacious and clean room - Friendly staff - Great facilities, near the beach - Lots of activities, family friendly - Big swimming pool and big resort

- Some random power outage - Rooms could do with a retrofit. They look outdated - Was charged for the stay when checking in although I had already paid online when booking - Rooms don't get automatically cleaned even when putting the notice at the door. - Communication issues when calling the reception. I had to do follow-up calls because no action were taken upon my first calls (request for room to be cleaned, request for a bottle steriliser) - Breakfast could do with a more variety on different days

Globally a good experience in this hotel. Very good for family with kids. The room was quite big. I would put a negative point on the restaurants + service: very expensive for low quality food. Many waiters and waitresses but there is only one or two who look like they know what they are doing. Maybe only the pizza from the Italian restaurant is good. But again, it is easier to describe the negative points are they are very specific. Overall I am satisfied

The hotel is very large with a nice view. Rooms are very confortable and large for familly The swimming pool is large and great with lots of activities The kids club is amazing, and breakfast also is great. The hotel is proposing nice evening activities and shows

Little bit far from the main city attractions, you will need to wake up early to do anything. Limited choice of food in the resort and you need to cross the road to access the beach Staff is very limited to speak english which is strange for such a brand. If lots of great activities, they are overpriced.

The place is beautiful and impressive

We booked 6 nights and left after one night. The pools were HOT and not refreshing at all. there was no shade anywhere, the place was not suitable for small children, the bar and restaurant prices were over the top and the reception staff were very unwelcoming. The hotel wanted to charge us extra for our nanny that came during the day. We waited for over an hour for our check in despite arriving after check in time, and every 15 minutes we were told it would just be a few more minutes but in fact it took over an hour. We asked for two rooms with baby cod which didn’t arrive until much later in the day. Will not return

Gorgeous facilities, rooms, amenities and staff. Truly and experience where attention to detail is unmatched. Extremely clean and accomodating. We were a couple and really enjoyed that there were allocated adults only pool areas. Family friendly areas looked very well equipped for families. Fantastic dining options and activities.

The property is beautiful with lush garden and a huge pool. The room was huge and beautiful with a garden area and beautiful palm trees. The staff was super kind and helpful. The breakfast was next level, the food was extremely delicious. Loved the restaurants there, great concept and great food. A good place to stay.

Everything is very good. Services are fine. The manager and the reception staff is also very good. Pool is amazing!!

Food quality is horrible, especially the breakfast restraunt and the Asian restaurant. Only the Italian restaurant is fine. Spa needs major improvement in terms of the massages, but the staff is fine. Maintainaince is poor.

We loved everything. Everybody was really kind and helpful. The room was nice and bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was one the best I’ve ever had in a hotel, we loved to wake up every day knowing there will be this amazing breakfast. The restaurant at the pool had some really nice food that suits with the beach. Can’t say the same about the buffet dinner, or the Italian restaurant. Pizza was not the best.

The bedsheets had a weird smell. We asked if they can change it. But even after they changed it, it still smelled sweaty. The golf course is really short and there is no driving range, but other than that everything was perfect.

Superb breakfast such variety. A mention exceptional staff ,Beem, Tui, Talia, And one with the best smile was Namwa to great you each day

The property was dated. Overdue for renovation. Housekeeping needs to be more thorough in their checklist of items to replace/change/clean.

The facilities were great: we used the kids club (with our 15 months old), pool and concierge for some trips in the area. The room was spacious and clean. The staff was very nice, they were very helpful with all our asks and very friendly with our baby as well.

We found it very pricy. We missed that our reservation did not include breakfast so we had to buy it individually and for us it was not a good value for money because we don’t eat enough to make it worth it. Also food in the restaurants was very expensive, we basically paid Singapore prices and more, but the quality wasn’t always there.

Beautiful expansive property with golf course. Attentive staff enhanced the experience. Great breakfast with loads of options and choices. Super pool area and pool bar. A great quality resort, well managed with great staff.

Only a restaurants in walking distance from the hotel, others are a short taxi ride away.
