Secrets Aura Cozumel - Adults Only

The staff were the best part of the entire stay. The “boss” lady Laluis and Jerry were amazing. Wendy was fantastic taking care of all our bartending/snacking needs. Our swim out room was perfect to float in as early or late as we wanted.

The facilities are starting to be worn out and run down. They will be upgrading/renovating at some point in the future but as it stands the resort needs a total facelift. Some guests had bad rooms while others like myself had a decent room, it was clean and comfortable but some things were missing or mismatched.

An exceptional stay that exceeded our expectations. From the pre-arrival service—thank you to Ingrid Medina—to the impeccable attention throughout, everything was seamless. Angel at the Preferred Lounge Bar and Fatima at the Preferred pool and beach delivered outstanding, attentive service. The breakfast hostesses at Market Café and Bordeaux were equally warm and welcoming. The suite, the views, and the overall level of service were fantastic and made our birthday weekend celebration unforgettable. We felt genuinely cared for throughout our stay.

The AC unit was a bit noisy and didn’t cool properly at first, but the issue was addressed very quickly and efficiently once we reported it.

The Beach was nice and clean, water was beautiful and good for swimming, a cheaper dive school (Dive Palancar) was close by. The Drinks were good and plenty. The Staff was polite and had good work ethic. The breakfast

Because of overbooking, we got rebooked to the sister hotel Dreams which is actually an upgrade eventhough it’s a Family hotel (less drunk people). However we got a room that has a connecting door to the next room which was extremly loud. In general the hotel is really noisy and the abundance of american guests very misbehaved. The Food is not very good and low quality

The staff was very friendly, working hard to make everything enjoyable for all guests. The beach & sea were lovely.

1. Aggressive hard sell to book dinners/spa & learn more about purchasing resorts & trips. Wouldn't take no for an answer. Happened immediately upon arrival instead of waiting in a more pleasant place while we waited for our room to be ready. We stayed in a locked room (need card to enter or exit) with a dirty food case with a small bun with a slab of ham & cheese. 2. Our room was musty with a sewage smell that worsened as we stayed. We kept the doors opened & once someone noticed and immediately brought help to clean a drain. It didn't help the problem. 3. Limited food choices, tasteless dishes, tasteless desserts 4. Cheesy entertainment 5. Never enough beach chairs
