El Cozumeleño Beach Resort - All Inclusive

The beach front and sea was amazing for snorkeling. We only stayed 1 night was better value than booking a beach day pass. The food was ok would be better if had more variation if was staying longer but good overall.

The staff were amazing. From the moment we checked in until we checked out they were great. The hotel is fairly close to town so getting into town for excursions or shopping was easy. The place was quiet and peaceful. The pools were nice, the beach was typical Mexican, but had a very nice snorkeling area.

Normal bed was very hard. The resort is older and dated, but kept up very well. It did not have a lot of the bells and whistles of newer resorts. If you want a nice relaxing place, this is the one.

Pools, Beach, are great. Beach is great for snorkeling, many types of fishes. Difficult to enter without protective shoes for rocks., Animation staff are great, attentive and care that you have a good time.

The food selection is terrible. Bufet with no many choices and the food seems like it has been reheated over and over. I got sick with a severe gastroenteritis on the third day. So we packed up our bags and left! Not a sweet end for a vacation so far away from home. The facilities indoors were not maintained, our bathroom had a large piece of wall falling off. We were given a key for the old safe tied to an extra dirty cord. I washed and washed it and was never happy using it. The sink was cracked all over.
