Beautiful hotel/ way over priced breakfast

Beautiful decorated hotel with nice staff, water filter stations at each floor providing both still and sparkling water, a free drink at the bar offer if you opt to not use housekeeping services for a day. The mattress was nice and firm, nespresso coffee machine (although no real cream/milk in the fridge), and a Dyson hairdryer! So many nice touches.

There was a strange cleanliness issue that didn’t reflect how well the rest f the hotel was cleaned. But it was taken care of easily by mentioning to staff. There’s no room service, except for breakfast (what if you fall ill during your stay?). You also can’t order a small breakfast. If you want anything from the restaurant in the morning, you have to pay 35euros for their buffet! Same with the room service, you can’t just order an egg and toast- they charge 35euros no matter. That’s not right for a hotel catering to busy travelers.

Our room was spotless, comfortable, and perfectly appointed for a relaxing stay. One of the true highlights was the fabulous breakfast. It was genuinely one of the best we’ve had in Europe—an impressive spread of fresh pastries, hot dishes, fruits, cheeses, and made-to-order options, all beautifully presented. The quality was exceptional, and the service was just as wonderful. It felt like the perfect, indulgent way to start each morning. The staff throughout the hotel were friendly, professional, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The location couldn’t be better—quiet and tucked away, yet just steps from the Grand Place and key sights. We absolutely loved our stay at The Dominican and would recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone visiting Brussels. A true gem!

I loved the water refill at each floor, the room was very elegant, and the best thing I loved was the scent all over the hotel. I really wished to ask the hotel if I can buy it but I forgot. Loved the hotel

Perfect stay!

Lovely hotel, very close to Grande Place, Rooms were very clean, beautifully decorated and beds very comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

The breakfast was lousy The staff at the reception were unfriendly The staff in the restaurant were unfriendly, like they didn't want to be there. My food was cold. My main food came out before the starters. I ordered my Rosetta was very cold. I complained and they said, why didn't you tell me before I said, well, you made a mistake on the soup having to wait for the rosotto. And being diabetic, I needed something to eat, not helpful at all, though didn't put things right for us. The restaurant wasn't even busy. There was only five people I can understand if the place was busy and people can make a mistake. I will never be going back to this place ever again. And I will not be recommending this place to anyone either. Very bad disappointment

City break at The Dominican

The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The decor was very modern and the room was a very good size, spotlessly clean and well-lit. The staff were so helpful and very approachable. The bar is lovely, and there is such a relaxed atmosphere in the hotel.

The Dominican is beautiful , the staff make it perfect , always happy to help the bed was comfortable, the room specious , the location is great for a little city break :) we will definitely return Sebastian was very helpful , nothing was too much trouble :)

A sanctuary with in Brussels

The Dominican was a little haven in the middle of the chaos of Brussels

The only thing that happened whilst we stayed there for 3 nights was that there was no housekeeping g on the Sunday which was very disappointing.

Beautiful building in great location. The room was comfortable and quiet.

The bed was a twin that had been pushed together which resulted in an uncomfortable gap in the middle. The tables at breakfast are too low for the chairs.

Central and quiet

Very central, close to Theatre de la Monnaie, room very quiet, staff very professional

unfortunately no hot water in the morning. Technician have been trying to solve the problem, but imposssible to take a shower before leaving the room ... quite unconvenient ... I have been offered a coffee & croissant as a compensation ... Bad luck ! Otherwise very nice hotel !

Nearly perfect but excellent

The breakfast was brilliant, the location was first class, rooms were brilliant and spotless clean and the bed very comfy. Liked the drinks token if housekeeping not required on the day. Staff were very good.

The food after breakfast needs improvement - quality of dinner & value for money was questionable - lack of choice of a bard snack and room service was poor - music in the bar was irritating.

Overall good, the location was excellent and hotel is good, apart from some cleanliness hiccups.

We arrived late in the evening, the room we were given looked nice but the toilet seat was not cleaned with stains. This was a disappointment considering how tired we were and our high expectations of the hotel. When we told the reception, they immediately changed our room. They took pictures to let housekeeping know. In the new room , this time the bathtub had hair in it. But we were so tired I cleaned it myself and let the reception know. Upon check out I requested a discount which was agreed by the hotel but as my booking was via booking.com , they could not. So can I please ask you to contact the hotel for a discount? Look forward to hearing from you, I have never had this experience in any hotel so appreciate your understanding and solution.

Stylish but pricy

Stylish, central, nice courtyard and cocktail bar.

It’s stylish, but by now slightly dated so over 300€/night for single room is too much for me. I am quite certain I booked with breakfast, but upon arrival it was not included. Would have liked to use the spa, but it was open limited hours.

A beautiful hotel in great location. The room was spacious with a bathtub and a separate shower space. Thank you for giving us an early check-in ☺️

Arrived early morning and while not promised early check in, the staff was able to get us settled in about 2 hours. The room was comfortable and the bed was amazing. Would definitely book here again!

We were on the 2nd floor directly above the dining room and open courtyard. Later in the evening it was a bit noisy, but nothing warranted a complaint
