A good place to stay.

A good place to stay not far from Durbuy. Beautiful decor with paintings and objects reminding of the belle epoque. A great host and good breakfast.

The room is adjacent to the street, so sometimes we could feel the cars driving by. Also the parking is several minutes away which is not a big deal unless it is raining (which was our case).

Nice, cozy BnB outside the more touristic part of Durbuy

Jeremie is a spectacular host! He would go above and beyond to make us feel at home. He even offered us a better room, free of charge. The room was super ample and comfortable. The breakfast is just great

It’s a bit dated, so maintenance could be a bit better. Cleaning was good, but not great. Anyway, just some small details. Would come again!

Good value for money stay at a gorgeous villa run by a great host!

Amazing villa at a great location in Barvaux, very close to the train station and close to a supermarket. Warm welcome by the host who feels a little bit like your personal butler while you enjoy the comfort of the villa. Extra points for the amazing breakfast served by the host himself who will cook your eggs how you want them at the spot and bring you a delicious pancake to complete your meal! I slept in The Pink Room which is on the back of the house, this room was very quiet and I slept amazing.

Quiet stay on the outer edges of Durbuy away from the hustle and bustle

Super quiet. We had a room on the back, garden side (the “red room”) so not sure if all rooms are quiet but ours certainly was. Breakfast was wonderful - made to order eggs and bacon, pastries, bread and rolls, jam and peanut butter, yogurt, fresh fruit, cereal!

Not a problem because we had a car but is several miles away from the main historical center.

Awesome host and great area

Caro is an amazing host and we really enjoyed staying here. Breakfast was super good and you could ask for more if you want, although it was already big enough :)) The area is nice, both Barvaux and Durbuy, totally worth visiting.

We booked the holiday home and that one at least has a stove/fire place which is nice and makes it really hot in the living room. However, the bedroom was upstairs and even if we set the temperature higher it was not a big difference. It also depends on how hot you want it to be, for us it was probably on the verge. Also, you need to add the pelets in the stove yourself, which is a bit of an inconvenient during the night. Because of this I have to say that price/quality was a little bit unbalanced, but still we felt really good.

Good

The owner is adorable. Extremely welcoming and available. The breakfast is all home made, very rich and delicious. You feel like at home. There is a private parking on the side of the garden.

The hotel is on a busy road, however the double window dump the noise nicely. Ask for a room with garden view. The facilities show some sign of aging, would need a little refresh, however you see the effort for keeping it up and running. A tod pricy from my opinion.

Nice cheap stay near Durbuy

Everything was great, except for the old piping/humidity smell in the Blue Room and the noise from passing cars. Otherwise breakfast amazing, beds comfortable and large rooms!

Smell from bathroom and some noise from being right on the street for the blue room. Also, B&B’s parking impossible to find, but we could park right in front in the end, which she could’ve told us.

Goof place and with great host

Super nice host, location is good less than 10 minutes drive from Durbuy and next to the river. Breakfast was great too.

Check-in time is quite limited (3-6 pm) so that can mess up your plans for the day. Our room was towards the street so there is noise of cars from the street even with windows and blinds closed.

Exceptional

This is an absolute wonderful place and the hosts are extraordinary people. The location is perfect if you want to visit the Durbuy & Marche regions, especially if you rely on public transport/ walking like I did. The room was spacious, very clean, very comfortable, and very chic decorated - especially if you like the "la belle époque" style. It also has a beautiful and spacious garden and outside terase. I slept very well, enjoyed to just chill in the room or on the terase on rainy days. The breakfast was amazing - I was very happy to notice that the hosts use local producers. And I would also like to mentioned the host, Caro, who was incredibly kind from the beginning. Very friendly, flexible, and provided me with all the info I needed in terms of local attractions, restaurants etc. All in all, this is the perfect getaway place for a holiday or a shorter trip to the Belgian mountain area :)

De enorme vriendelijkheid en energie van de gastheer! Het heerlijke ontbijt in de gezellige eetkamer. De grote tuin is zeker met mooi weer een enorme plus. Op loopafstand van een aantal restaurants.

Aan de voorzijde hoor je auto’s langs het raam rijden; aan de achterzijde is het heel rustig.

séjour parfait et accueillant

l’amabilité de l'hôte Jérémy . La maison est magnifique. Les chambres sont très spacieuses et décorées avec goût, style rétro. Le petit déjeuner est très copieux. Jérémy nous a préparer des œufs et de délicieux pancakes, il y avait des viennoiseries, céréales, fromage blanc, etc.. il était vraiment complet. Commerce à proximité.
