The location, it is as spacious, kitchen well equipped .

Toiletries are bare minimum. A room spray in the bathroom and body cream would elevate the bathrooms. A little basket with some rusks or biscuits and a small 500ml of milk in the fridge so you can make a cup of tea/coffee when you get there would also elevate the score. This , as well as bottled water, is usually a bare minimum in 4/5 star accommodation. There were no warm blankets on the beds- thin cotton slips in the middle of winter are not nearly sufficient and for an afternoon nap you have to get in under the duvet and use the aircon which wouldn’t be necessary if there were thick/heavy blankets on the the beds.

It was a lovely townhouse, with beautiful views and fabulous location. So very comfortable. Everything was tip-top and the check-in and checkout process was super smooth.

Great location, what you see if what you get, and very secure

Location and staff were both very good . In particular James was very helpful.

76 Waterkant St is not suitable for elderly visitors like my wife and myself because of the excessive number of steps/ stairs. We slept on the ground floor but still had to negotiate steps up from the street, onto a small landing, into the bedroom and then into the bathroom. We specifically did not use the stairs down to the basement bedroom or upto the first floor lounge/bedroom so as to avoid these risks. The ground floor water was always either warm or scalding hot. Cold water from a tap was available on first floor only. The sink in the ground floor bathroom sprayed out of the basin onto the user or floor. Apparently some tap problem. The safe was tiny and the key didn’t work.
