Wifi did not work. No outside access from living room. No milk in fridge.

The property is amazing! Our three grown up daughters absolutely loved it! It is modern, very well equipped, has fabulous contemporary art work throughout all the rooms and is in a great location - with a reserved parking space directly outside for one car. Inside there is small internal courtyard open to the elements and on the upper deck there are sunbathing and bbq facilities and a wonderful cosy hot tub. The bedrooms are all spotlessly clean, super comfortable and are all en-suite. The reception staff are located about 100m away and very helpful. There is a very good large Spar store about 100m from the property - which will easily meet all of your self-catering needs. It is located in a small upmarket mall with lots of great shops. There are lots of lovely cafes and bars within 2 minutes walk. The wonderful V&A Waterfront is only a couple of minutes away in an Uber (which are plentiful, very cheap and you never have to wait more than 2-3 minutes for them to turn up)- however it is not recommended to try walking there for personal security reasons. (There are neighbourhood watch guards 24/7 on all of the streets surrounding the property)

This is a very conveniently located and comfortable house. You can easily walk into the CBD and Boo Kaap. There's a Spar supermarket just down the road. The Waterkant neighbourhood is lovely.

Location and staff were both very good . In particular James was very helpful.

76 Waterkant St is not suitable for elderly visitors like my wife and myself because of the excessive number of steps/ stairs. We slept on the ground floor but still had to negotiate steps up from the street, onto a small landing, into the bedroom and then into the bathroom. We specifically did not use the stairs down to the basement bedroom or upto the first floor lounge/bedroom so as to avoid these risks. The ground floor water was always either warm or scalding hot. Cold water from a tap was available on first floor only. The sink in the ground floor bathroom sprayed out of the basin onto the user or floor. Apparently some tap problem. The safe was tiny and the key didn’t work.
