These are gorgeous and spacious cottages in a delightful and quiet bit of Cape Town.

Lovely, clean, spacious, modern property in a lovely location that felt safe.
The only slight issue was on the Saturday night there was a lot of noise from nearby pubs/restaurants. This was unfortunate as I had the marathon the next day. Ear plugs did the trick. This was only an issue for the main bedroom.

James was very attentive, and whatever we needed, he immediately responded. Also, Okuhle went out of his way on a Saturday when the office was closed, so he could check us out. And then he let us keep our bags in the office while we got some food and waited for us until we came back. Hospitality and service from both of them exceeded my expectations. :)
The only two reasons why I gave 8/10 score and good, bot excellent, score for kitchen facilities was because:
1) We found some insects in the kitchen. However, the management were on it immediately once I reported it.
2) The bedrooms were very comfortable and well-heated. The main living and dining areas were a little chilly. There was a fireplace though.

Location and staff were both very good . In particular James was very helpful.
76 Waterkant St is not suitable for elderly visitors like my wife and myself because of the excessive number of steps/ stairs. We slept on the ground floor but still had to negotiate steps up from the street, onto a small landing, into the bedroom and then into the bathroom. We specifically did not use the stairs down to the basement bedroom or upto the first floor lounge/bedroom so as to avoid these risks.
The ground floor water was always either warm or scalding hot. Cold water from a tap was available on first floor only.
The sink in the ground floor bathroom sprayed out of the basin onto the user or floor. Apparently some tap problem.
The safe was tiny and the key didn’t work.
