Overall disappointing for price.

Large room but was the more expensive of those offered so expected it. Comfy bed. Nice surrounding scenery.

Poor finish to room and overall property. Breakfast had limited options. Found hairs within some of the food. Would not stay again or recommend.

Nice, quiet location by beach/trails with friendly staff. Some rooms need minor renovation/upkeep.

The room was nice size. The location was great, right by hiking trails, by beach and short drive into town. Breakfast was also fantastic with a lot of variety. The staff was nice and helped with my suitcases at check-in.

The room needs some minor renovation like a new coat of paint on the walls (chipping and dents in parts of the walls currently) and some of the furniture was peeling. Fix this and the room will be fantastic and worth what I spent on booking.

A nice hotel but expensive and annoyed because of the double charge for my room

Location was handy for the beach within 15 minute walk. Hotel had nice feel and good breakfast

I was charged twice for the room and I am now waiting over a month to be credited for the overcharge. The rooms were very small (probably smallest room I've ever stayed in) amd not good value for money. No AC and a fan was provided. Staff were friendly but not overly efficient.

Good bike hire (electric) with easy cycling into Wassenaar for €28 a day. Also so close to beach with plenty of parking if you needed it. Would recommend

Could have had fridge in room as needed it for insulin, but staff did offer to put in fridge downstairs. Also no toaster to toast bread at breakfast.

Greatness in the dunes near Wassenaar.

Uniquely positioned location in the dunes combined with a high service level. Good kitchen, both for breakfast as for quality dining.

Occasionally parking is an issue and when it’s busy staff can be a bit overwhelmed.

the hotel is old and has not been renovated for many years. The roof is old. it rained at night. it made the room so noisy that it was impossible to sleep. I slept well for an hour. when I asked for help, it turned out that there was no employee at the hotel at night. if something happens, know that there will be no one to help you. the staff knows it all, so they play theater…

rooms are well equipped, location is closed to the beach which only takes 15 minutes of walking, breakfast was ok, unfortunately they didn't refill the empty tray often enough.

check in could be a little customer oriented , they need to see proof of payment on my credit card statement. As mentioned the breakfast supply was minimal.

Spacious room and good location but way over priced for what it was

Room was spacious and comfortable, location in nature and close to beach, nice bar where we were able to hang out a bit and play board games, service was good

Way over priced for what it was, I know it was a holiday weekend so prices are higher than normal, but it was double maybe even triple what it would have normally cost. I probably would've given it a higher rating had it not been for the price. Also, some windows / shades were broken and could not be open - normally I wouldn't really care since we were only there for one night, but given the high price tag, this kind of irked.

Okay for one or two nights with friendly, helpful staff.

Perfectly adequate hotel for a two night stay. Comfortable bed and good range of Television channels on the TV. Very friendly staff who were keen to help and good value. Restaurant was Adequate with pleasant food but nothing outstanding. Good picnic lunch bag provided. Excellent location to experience the beach at Wassenaar with some great walks amongst the dunes.

The room was very small and very much style over substance. It looked elegant but was not practical. No door on the shower cubicle so the bathroom floor got soaked. No shelf space to put anything in the bathroom so two peoples toiletries and so on had to be put on the toilet seat cover at times. Lovely designer tap over the basin but you hit your head on it if you leant over the basin to wash! One very small cupboard for two people's clothing unless you are happy to live out of your bag - but nowhere to put that either! One socket either side of the bed and one under the small counter top so few places to charge electronics if you had more than two devices.

Relaxing stay near beach sand dunes.

Location close to beach was perfect for a quiet retreat. 45 minute walk to Wassenaar was easy along foot/bike paths. Buffet breakfast was excellent. Staff willing to help with luggage since upper floors are only accessible by stairs. On site restaurant and lots of sitting space on patio. Small room but very spacious bathroom.

No bus service to hotel. Best accessed by car.

It was all good within what you'd reasonably expect. I think the unique location makes it overpriced. The rest of the facilities are ok, but not what I'd expect when spending 270 euro for one night. double bed room.
