Wouldn't call it good value for money unfortunately, especially disappointing for family trips

We chose this hotel due to its location at the beach. Breakfast buffet was satisfying. I believe this hotel had renovations recently, so the decor looked nice and modern.

One information that would have been helpful while booking: all bigger family rooms (and I don't mean the family apartments) are only on the first floor. Those rooms typically face the dunes but - due to the low floor - with a view primarily at the parking lot wall and the other family rooms face the tram behind the hotel - so none have a sea or partial sea view. Because we were celebrating a birthday, the only option was to upgrade into a room on a higher floor for a hefty charge - making our two night trip even more expensive. Nothing complimentary (like water bottles) in the rooms.

The only thing good was the view

The view from the room was beautiful.

Hospitality level is really low. My room wasn’t ready at 15:00 so I had to wait extra 15mins but the receptionist’s attitude was poor. The sea view room was nice.

We very much enjoyed the stay.

The location is perfect, very stylish interior, and very friendly and helpful staff.

The breakfast buffet could be better organised - it was almost impossible to reach the bread with everyone queuing for the coffee machine in one corner.

It was not mentioned on your site that the hotel was in full renovation and not able to provide the service you expect and pay for when you book a four star hotel. We had to enter the hotel through a small back-door, haul our luggage up the stairs and had a view of the parking rather than the beach. There was no breakfast service and the swimming pool did not correspond to your pictures. It's understandable that hotels need to renovate but the least is to inform your customers correctly so we could have booked another hotel for our stay.

Was lovely place we went for a walk along the beach very beautiful place

Very close to the beaches and tram as well. I would recommend it to anyone and I look forward to to go their again soon sometime

The location for access to all the amenities on the beach was incredible.

Nothing at all. Balconies are a little worn but still a great place to have a morning coffee.

Great location but otherwise disappointing

Location was fantastic with great views of the beach

Our room was located next to the cleaning closet and we were woken both days by loud chatting and banging around by the cleaners. Despite being so close to the cleaners we found that upon returning in the evening from a day out that they had missed cleaning our room completely. Also - the bathroom doors were simply saloon doors which offer little privacy.

Superb

Location, rooms ok (even the not-sea-view), clean, comfy. Hotel at beach (50m) and tram/bus station on the other side. Parked car the whole time and used the excellent public transport to visit Den Haag. Beach infinite number of restaurants at the wide beach.

Staff in hotel restaurant poor. Were more busy with themselves than the customers. Table was only cleaned after the chef gave the waiter a hint. The other hotel staff excellent and friendly. Breakfast a bit crowed at one time, not enough space to lay the buffet out, hence people queuing.

The mattress had a hole, was not comfortable. The room was very small and the bathroom had no door, just a sort of small wooden cover.

Spacious, comfy, silent room with great view. Perfect bed. Atmosphere of hotel more 5 than 4*. Beautiful creative details.

Breakfast could be higher quality, for instance more variety in bread, cheese and meats. Shower in our room on 6th floor had very low pressure.
