The kitchen was decently equipped. There was an excellent welcome basket with home made bread, marmalade, butter, juices and milk. Excellent bed, towels, and shower pressure. A very interesting tour of the water mill and granary. Short walk to Wookie Cafe and pubs. Note the Burcott Inn has limited opening days.
The kitchen tap leaked. There was road traffic noise and car lights shining into the bedroom, meaning the bedroom window and blinds had to stay closed. The only natural air circulation was in the dining / breakfast room. None of the upper floor windows opened for ventilation (even if a fan was provided in the sitting room).

Spacious, well designed. Good location. Equipment was good, and some nice ‘green’ options. Host provided a sheet option due to the hot weather, and a couple of fans which we appreciated. Bed was comfy and big. We enjoyed the breakfast treats.
The lounge furniture wasn’t very comfortable. The duvet was thick - although a sheet was provided instead. It would be good to have hand soap in the kitchen
