A very comfortable stay within a 10-min walk to the high street

The location was very good, about a 8-10 minute walk to the high street though be warned that it is uphill all the way back! The directions to the house were not terribly clear and we spent some time trying to find the correct house as the numbering on the street is not intuitive so detailed directions would be recommended. The little house was comfortable and clean with some basic amenities available (tea and coffee but no milk or small "welcome basket"). The pull-out bed was comfortable and easy to use. The small terrace is a nice addition particularly if the weather is good. The host lives next door so is easy to contact if needed (we did not need to while we were there). There were plenty of extra blankets and towels. There is also a parking space which is a great bonus as parking in the area is difficult. All in all a comfortable stay.

I can't really fault the accommodation; it had everything we needed for the 2 nights we were there. I did think it was a tad pricey for the time of year.

Lovely apartment and host 💚

Dilkara is a unique apartment and we loved our stay there. It is thoughtfully and artistically designed, comfy and cosy, and within walking distance of The Tor, Windmill Hill and the town. Delphi is welcoming and helpful - all in all a great stay and we will be back. Thank you! 💚

Peaceful, comfortable, warm, clean, ideally situated & well hosted!

Great location, close enough for a nice walk into town, and far enough away for total peace and quiet. The well stocked shop literally two minutes away on foot was extremely handy supplies. Delphi was delightful.

Lovely stay

We had a very pleasant stay at Dilkara. Delphi gave us a very warm welcome. The apartment was very clean and comfortable, we loved the trees all around it and the peace. Very close to the Tor for walking. Loved Glastonbury. We would be very happy to stay here again.

The apartment is up a steep hill, we had planned to walk into town every day but it became very hard on the legs! Wise to take the car down or get a taxi.

Very clean and comfortable. High quality bedding made for a cosy sleep. Excellent facilities, perfect base. Really lovely host who was incredibly welcoming and provided lots of useful info.

Whilst walking into the centre from the apartment is a doddle as it’s all downhill, getting back takes a little longer and that bit more energy as it’s all uphill!

Comfortable, clean apartment & great location in heart of Glastonbury.

Beautiful apartment located close to Glastonbury high street and Tor. Warm welcoming host who was happy to help with anything, although we didn’t need much as the property offered everything we need with lots of added extras to make the stay comfortable. Thanks Delphi

Gem of a place

A little gem of a place, spacious enough for 2 with great amenities, and decking to enjoy being outside. Close enough to walk up the Tor and walk to town.

A perfect hideaway

A wonderful property and delightful, helpful owner (especially when I lost the key!!). Couldn't have been better. *Extremely* comfortable bed, beautifully appointed apartment and great communication. A location slightly out of town but an easy walk, so much quieter with great direct access to country walks. Thank you!

Lovely stay, great location just above the town centre.

The hosts were lovely. Everything with communication was very smooth and always responded quickly and happy to help. Great location just above the centre and a route through fields to the Tor. The apartment had everything I needed to cook, which was great, as chose for self-catering. Lovely to be a short way from town. The host artwork was around. which was beautiful and lots of touches around making it cosy. It was a lovely stay.

The bed in the main bedroom was uncomfortable for me. I could feel the springs. It was very firm. It could be me though as I have very sensitive nerve pain issues. Maybe something to be aware of if you have chronic pain issues as may not be suitable. The sofa bed was more comfortable.

Beautiful little property, didn't use full extent of self-service kitchen but was impressed, good bathroom, clean through-out, great spot for exploring Glastonbury, very polite and courteous hosts despite our some what late arrival and over sleeping so checking out 20 minutes late. Bed linen was of good quality,

The mattress was not modern, you could feel and hear the springs. TV was too small for the size of the room and the distance you have to sit away from it. Follow up gripe to that as sometimes bedroom TV can compensate smaller living area TV's but there wasn't one.

Wonderful stay in the heart of Glastonbury!

What a wonderful stay in Glastonbury! The property is beautiful and has all the amenities necessary inside. The location is great (driving distance to Bath as well as the coast) and Glastonbury took us by surprise - it's a very cool city to visit! Delphi and her son were extremely welcoming and helpful. If I return to Glastonbury, I will stay here again!

Lovely property, 10 min walk to Glastonbury High St where you can find The Abbey. It is up a hill so be prepared on the way back may take a bit longer. The property itself had everything you need for a short stay.
