Chalet Linde B&B

The staff were incredibly friendly & accommodating. The breakfast included every morning was fantastic. On our last morning we had to leave early before breakfast & the host made us sandwiches to take with us. We had dinner there one night and the food was absolutely delicious. The communal bathrooms were very clean despite being a little dated.

The walk to the property from the train station was inconvenient to do at the start and end of each day. We arrived on a Wednesday & it seemed that reception was closed with a note & our key laying on the counter. Also on a Wednesday the restaurant is closed, they do have a food truck outside but it doesn’t have any vegetarian options. It does feel like a safe area but they ask you to leave your key hanging at reception each day so we felt hesitant leaving any valuables/personal items in our room. As is everything in Switzerland it felt a little overpriced but the staff made up for it!

Staff are super friendly and kind specially lady forgot the name. money worth it.

The location was pleasant and the breakfast was good.

No lifts in the house, making it difficult to carry luggage till second floor when you are travelling with a family and kids.

Traditional style timber lodge. Pleasant staff. Nice location if you want to be located between Interlaken, Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen.

It isn’t very child friendly, no cot available. Being an old property, in hot weather it was unbearable.
