Quirky house in a good location.

Comfortable beds with good quality bedlinen. Good location. Nice, big rooms. Hot tub is nice once you are safely into it. Good sized kitchen. Contact regarding key collection. The house is quite quirky and unusual in it's layout. It does provide sleeping room for an extended family or group of friends. Lots of books to read Shower on lower ground floor is handy for using after hot tub.

Hot tub is difficult to get in and out. Steps to it were very unstable as the tub is at an angle. No oven trays, just 1 small roasting tin, not ideal when cooking for 9 people. Upstairs bathroom - although the bath tub has a shower attachment, this is hard to use for a shower as there is no high hook for it and no shower curtain or screen so the floor will get wet. Games were not well looked after, sadly lots of the pieces were very mixed up. We did spend an hour trying to sort them, but had to give up as they were so bad. Such a shame as it looks like a nice selection. Sometimes it was difficult to park on the street. Lots of stairs as the kitchen is on the lower ground floor along with dining room.

The house us amazing and as a family we had a great stay

This property is perfect for a family break It’s well equipped ti cater for all your needs We stayed the weekend to celebrate our daughters 40 th birthday The house has a balcony and the view is amazing We have 4 young children from 10 years old to 3 years. The garden has a climbing a frame a playhouse and games and good WiFi and when the kids go to bed a hot tub The walk to the beech is about 15 minutes we had an amazing weekend and loved the quirky interior we will definitely becoming back

Location and size is excellent

Location was excellent. House was a great size for our group. Keys and instructions were all clear. Cleanliness was excellent and the house was nice and warm.

There was a piano in the photographs of the property online and we specifically picked the house because of this. When we arrived the piano was not there. This was a huge disappointment. Would also prefer if the request for a deposit came through the booking agent and not via a text message from the property manager we did not know the name of (due to being cautious over potential scams). An email request for the deposit through booking.com would have been helpful or at least an indication of who will be sending the text message.

Lovely 1/2 term break!

Very comfortable beds with good linen. Open fire and hot tub.

A better shower in the main bathroom. Some basic provisions e.g salt and pepper, cooking oil/spray, tea and coffee (although this may have not been poss due to COVID)

Very enjoyable stay in this large house with 4 levels. Small but pretty garden with nice hot-tub.

Comfortable beds. Enjoyed hot tub. Nice Kitchen and balcony for evening drinks

Only one proper shower which was downstairs. Upstairs bathroom needed renovation and a proper shower installed (not a shower head linked to the bath taps which could not be hung above your head). Generally, the house needed some modernisation in places (some of the decor was a bit 1970's) and fridge needs replacing - it leaked a bit

Fantastic house with great facilities, loved the log fire and the hut tub. The welcome basket was also a lovely touch
