Venetian Reale Apartment

Very spacious accommodation in the centre of town, close to all attractions. It had everything we needed—plates, a microwave, an iron, hob, etc. It is located in a traditional old building, and the uneven floors add to its charm.

The bathroom requires some attention, particularly the bathtub. It may pose a safety risk for disabled individuals and elderly people when getting in and out to use the shower. I understand and appreciate that the existing bathtub is an original feature. However, for safety reasons, I would recommend replacing it with a floor-level shower.

Perfectly located right in Old Town, walking distance from lots of shops/bars/restaurants. The hosts were great at communicating and very proactive in making suggestions, as well as checking to ensure we were enjoying our stay! It’s a very charming little apartment, great comfortable bed and feels rather spacious. Easy check-in and check-out. We had a lovely stay!

A bit more attention could be paid to dusting (floors and under the bed were a bit dirty) and the shower head is handheld only which isn’t very convenient. A bit pricey for what it is but relative for the area!

The location is what makes this apartment a good option. It’s in the middle of the historic centre, very well located.

The location is great and even though it’s a very busy area, you don’t hear the noise from the street so your sleep is safe! The apartment itself is a bit old, containing a bedroom, a kitchen and a tiny bathroom. The bed was the best thing about the property, very comfortable and the room is spacious. Kitchen is equipped with some items and it’s ok for a quick meal or snack. There’s no microwave oven (I didn’t spot any!). The bathroom is problematic: there’s a very small bathtub and you need to hold the shower head as it’s not hanging anywhere. The water from the shower comes back from the drain outside the bathtub, beside the toilet and in a few minutes the bathroom is a mess, with the mat completely soaked! Also, the electricity only works with a card (they forgot to leave it for us, by the way. It was sorted after some hours, though.). In summary, the apartment is a good option if you’re staying a night or two only.
