Melli Seaview apartment

Location Size and rooms View and balcony amazing Large fridge

No cloth to wash dishes

The location and view from the 3x balconies. Size of rooms was very good. Good shower room with washing machine was handy. Plenty of outside tables and chairs on balconies. WiFi was good.

Very creaky bed. No catches on french doors or shutters, needed when it was windy. No welcome information pack . Bedroom ceiling light stayed on some nights and we could not find a switch to turn it off.

Very clean and lovely place with fantastic views of the sea and fort. The location is amazing, it’s within a short walk to the centre of Corfu and with loads of good restaurants and bars nearby. The apartment had everything we needed and the host was very welcoming. I would highly recommend!

The apartment is a great size, very clean and in the perfect location. The apartment has balconies from the kitchen, bedroom and living room - all with 2 chairs and a small table. Great view, within walking distance of the port, very close to lots of restaurants and bars, a supermarket and the new fortress. The property management host was very helpful and with great communications

This apartment would be a 10 but for a few things. The bedroom has 4 lights in the ceiling and when the switch is on, 3 of the lights are on but when the switch is off, the other light is on! It was very bright for sleeping. I noticed this comment in another review but thought there must be another switch but if there's a way to turn all the lights off we couldn't manage it! We resorted to removing the fob at the front door which disconnected all the electricity meaning we couldn't use the AC at night. The other thing that dragged the score down was the lack of some "essentials". In the kitchen there was nothing to wash the dishes with, there was no kitchen paper, no hand wash and very little washing up liquid. There is a coffee machine and a couple of pods or some coffee to start you off would be nice. There's a washing machine but no washing powder. "Free toiletries" were mentioned in the advert and I was expecting shower gel and shampoo but there was just handwash in the bathroom. For €230 a night I expected more. Lastly, the toilet cistern filled intermittently the first day but by that night was not filling at all so we had to fill a bucket to flush. The next morning when I contacted the host she immediately contacted the owner who said "If you shake it a little bit I think it will be fine"!!! When that didn't work the host immediately arranged a plumber although through no fault of the host we didn't have a flushing toilet for over 48 hours.
