The location can’t be more central. All restaurants and shops and main sights are in very short walking distance. The host texted on WhatsApp and gave all information, responded very quickly. The terrace is big and nice to relax and dry the clothes. It has a washing machine, little kitchen (which I didn’t use, there are so many places with good food around for breakfast, lunch and dinner). I stayed there comfortably for 3 nights. Even though the apartment is very central it’s on a quiet street, but the terrace is next to a motorbike parking which can cause a bit of noise sometimes, it didn’t bother me much. All windows have mosquito nets (although you most likely never leave your windows open because of the heat outside). The AC worked well. Little fridge was just enough. The host even provided some free cold water as a welcome gift. There were some basic toiletries (shower gel, shampoo, conditioner), which was nice as my luggage was delayed and I didn’t have any with me.

1. WiFi is slow, it’s not suitable for working remotely. The host was very honest about it and answered my inquiry about it beforehand, so I knew what to expect and got a Cosmote SIM card with unlimited internet to use my phone as a hotspot (must place the phone by the window to catch the signal). It’s not host’s fault that the WiFi is slow, it’s city’s issue which uses old infrastructure that can’t handle large number of users. I appreciated host’s honesty that allowed me to prepare beforehand! Thank you! 2. The apartment may look brighter and a bit bigger on the photos. It may be just my perception. The shower is small, but I had no Issues with it being a 6-foot tall big man. Not having much sunlight was actually relaxing when it was super sunny and extremely hot outside, so for me it was a plus. 3. The cleaning was good, but I think it could be a bit better to completely remove all the tiny sand particles left by the previous guests. 4. Some noise from the motorbike parking. Didn’t bother me personally, but if you plan to sleep longer in the morning it may wake you up.

The property was as described and very clean. The apartment is lovely and we really enjoyed our stay. Communication with the host was also very good. The location of the apartment is also great.

Ons verblijf in het oude gedeelte van Corfu-stad was werkelijk fantastisch! De locatie kon niet beter: we bevonden ons midden in de historische charme van de stad, omringd door prachtige Venetiaanse gebouwen, smalle steegjes en gezellige pleinen. Alles was op loopafstand – van traditionele taverna's tot culturele bezienswaardigheden zoals de Sint-Spyridon-kerk en het oude fort.
