About this apartment rental
This charming and cosy apartment is located in the most exclusive Rome historical centre, in a perfect location to visit Rome major touristic sites: the Coliseum, Nerone's Domus Aurea, the Basilica of S. Clemente, the Foro romano.
It is a comfortable 1 floor flat for 4 to 6 people, there is a lovely living room with a double sofa bed, two charming double bedrooms,with 2 single beds each (both can become double)one in the basement, the other one near the livingroom, a very modern bathroom with a comfortable shower and bathtub, a fully equipped kitchen with a table good for 6-8 persons, from there you can go in a fresh and sunny terrace-garden where you can relax in the evening after having walked all day long, or sun bath at lunch time if you decide to go back home for a siesta.....
Air conditioned but frankly speaking there is not much need of it since the rooms of the old roman palaces are fresh in summer and worm in winter, the ceiling is made of original terracotta 'voltine' recently restored and the floor is also in terracotta. It was completely renovated in Feb. 2012. wifi internet 24h free
Restaurants: Luzi and le Naumachie in Via Celimontana, Quattro e quattr'otto and the pizzeria I rioni in Via dei Santi quattro, La taverna dei Quaranta in Via Claudia. All walking distance!
Please remember that on the day of your arrival you will have to pay the city tax: 3.50 euro per day per person with more than 10 years old.

Excellent location, 3 minutes to the Colesseum, even close access to great restaurant and bars. If traveling with family, separate rooms are to rest and unwind.

We had a wonderful time in Rome. You could not get closer to the Coliseum if you tried. Alessandra had great tips and the restaurant she recommended was by far the best we had!

We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment in Rome. Location was outstanding! Walking distance to the Colosseum and other sites. Easy access to metro and bus stops to get to other attractions. Plenty of delicious restaurants just meters away. Apartment was comfortable, clean and provided all basic amenities. We enjoyed the patio in the morning while drinking coffee. Alessandra was a great host, answered questions and communicated well.Only note I would make is that the second bedroom with twin beds is down a steep set of stairs, which was fine for us, but may be an issue for people with mobility issues. There is a pull out couch in the den.Thank you Alessandra!
