Disappointing, especially the Deluxe Suite bathroom
We stayed in the Deluxe Suite called Xochipilli. Enormous and very comfortable bed. The room is extremely big and its garden area is very nice. The breakfast was excellent - lovely fruit juice and coffee, very good eggs and the gigantic croissant was delicious.
As other reviewers have said, the room was cold and there was no heater. Luckily the outside temperatures were good, so the cold wasn't unbearable. Also, the bed has lots of blankets, so it was warm in bed. Aside from the cold, the room was very tired and does not match up to the photos I that respect. The room description says there is a wardrobe or closet. There isn't. Only a very small number of cost hooks. For such a large room, this is ridiculous. And it is unacceptable to say there is a wardrobe when there is not. However, the worst aspect was the bathroom. You may notice there are no photos of the bathroom for any room. In the Xochipilli Suite, the bathroom was very tired and quite dirty. The room has an old-fashioned, vintage free-standing bath. It really needs to be re-enamelled, but that is not the main issue. The bath is close to the wall, but not touching it. The shower head is high on the wall by the bath and the shower curtain only runs along one side of the bath. This all means it is impossible to have a shower without lots of water ending up on the floor, so it ends up like a wet room but without the drainage you would need. Unusually for me, I've taken photos to illustrate what I mean. You will see we had to put towels on the floor to stem the flood!

Great hotel with very nice grounds, plants and trees. The hotel’s restaurant, Aguamiel, is also very good with very attentive staff who always took time to explain dishes and provide good service throughout the meal.
    It is good as is.

    Teotichuacan is amazing!
Loved the tezmacal & massage. Staff was very helpful and kind. property was lovely.
No hot water in the shower. Hours from the breakfast, an earlier option would be great.

    Good stay
    Brrakfast, friendly staff
The room was not heated - (around 3 celsius of degress in room). It was necessary to ask for extra heating. The shower sprayed onto the toilet.

    Wonderful, and blessing.
The staff was extremely accommodating and helpful. I had lost my phone in town and if it wasn’t for their kindness and help I would have been flying home without my phone.
I was there during a cold period and I staying in the smaller rooms and I wished there was heating

Not fancy but served our needs
The property was spacious and private. The staff were friendly and accommodating. They gave us a different room when asked. Our initial room was fine but required walking through several halls and doorways to reach. My husband had concerns about exiting should there be any kind of emergency. It was also right off the restaurant and dark. The parking lot was large and secure, closed by a large gate at night. The location was only 5 minute drive to the entrance to see the pyramids. There is a hotel onsite that seems to operate in collaboration with the hotel. It is very clean and pleasant and the food was good. The staff (chef) was very kind and adapted to our schedule.
One of our party stayed in one of the smaller rooms that literally looked (and probably was) a stable. They were fine but I would not have liked to sleep there. Small, dark and musty. The staff initially told us the restaurant was open for dinner until 10pm then changed and told us it closed at 6pm. When I was talking with the chef he asked why we were not dining there and I told him we wanted to eat later. He was happy to serve us at 7:30. Our party of 6 were the only ones at the hotel and having dinner. We were disappointed that although it says "breakfast included" the hours were 9-11:30. For people traveling or to see the pyramids that was a very late start. Again, the chef let us have breakfast at 8 but only coffee, bread and fruit, not the breakfast offered with the room.

Close to pyramids. don't stay in the small room
Beautiful gardens and pool. Nice breakfast. Friendly staff.
The room was likely an old horse stable. Converted yes, but very small.
