Cheap safe place for an overnight stop. Nice pool. Don't expect much and you won't be disappointed.

Looking a little tired. Not everything works (like the TV and the aircon - which tried hard but wasn't really effective). Bits of plaster missing and cupboards etc were old and falling apart.

Comforatbale stay with value for money in a good location in Kuta with complimentary breakfast

The property is located just 5 mins walk from the main Kartika plaza road which goes to the beach, little inside a narrow lane but that’s ok for the price you get with breakfast that too which is a plus.

The location was good for the airport and they booked a taxi there for us.

The room had many mosquitoes, it was not clean or kept in good condition and there was no hot water. We had received much better accommodation in the same area for the same price. There are more expensive rooms that look to be in better condition but they were cheaper elsewhere.

False Advertisement

The room was not as advertised. Sheets were dirty, pillowcases were dirty, there were no towels or toilet paper. I would not stay in this place again It was as if we were not expected to check in. Location was good but everything else was a 1/10.

The breakfast was OK & the staff were pleasant

This was an uninspiring hotel. I was looking for a not too expensive hotel for 1 night in Denpasar where I needed car parking on site. The room looked OK, until the power went in the middle of the night & was still off the following morning. Fortunately, I had my mozzie net as there were a number of mozzies in the room.

Dirty room, dirty bathroom, dirty bed sheet and bed cover. No wifi, no hot water, no tea-coffee maker in room. Pretty much everythings are bad. I suggest not to stay this hotel.

The staff are good

There no trash bin in my room, I have to get it by myself from outside the room. Toilet paper need to be requested. The towel seems like alredy used for a very long time, I bought a new-clean towel at Lippo Mal

I arrived at Taman Sari Cottage at the end of my two weeks holiday travelling across Bali. I had originally booked a budget room,but as the venue was quite they gave me a free upgrade to one of the beautiful villas. On perusal of the property you can tell it was once a very remarkable place to stay, however due to covid and the heavy monsoons inevitable damage has been caused that can only rectifyed by revenue created by tourism as sadly, half of the area was closed due to disrepair and lack of funds to repair. The half I stayed in was beautiful. The villas are large with separate bathrooms with baths and hot water, the grounds are beautiful and the pool large and clean, but my best experience was the staff, especially the owner. As a solo female traveller I was treated with the upmost respect. The owner checked on my welfare and arranged very affordable trips for me during my 3 day stay. Due to my own fault I missed my flight home to the UK and returned to the villa, In a state of distress. The receptionist led me back to my old room with a kind smile and no mention of my ineptitude or fees ( the next day they charged me a basic rate and did not take advantage of my desperation) The following day the kindly manager/owner checked on my welfare and double checked with me my new flight departure. When leaving for the second time ( he gave me a lift) , he ( the owner ) gave me his card and told me in a fatherly manner to call him in anything went wrong. As a mother of two adult children I whole heartily recommend this establishment, not only will they be staying in a great place near Kutas best attractions but they will also looked after by a staff team with integrity and compassion. In summary, please book to help this amazing owner get back to prosperty after the nightmare that was Covid 19 because he has a great place and he is a thoroughly amazing human being

The staff was pleasant.

The light in the room was very bad. The was no comfortable place to sit in the room. WIFI was super slow in my room and sometimes didn't work at all.

Really nice pool area and garden, good breakfast too!

Sheets were dirty, towels too, we found a cockroach on the bathroom floor, the room smelled like mould! Walls were old and the paint was falling off. Sink was dirty and we had to hold the tap while putting the water on because the tap wasn’t attached to the sink anymore. We asked if we could upgrade and see the other rooms available...same smell and we see another dead cockroach on the bathroom floor! We could also hear the staff in the lobby drinking beer just outside my “room” and laughing in the night, which made me, sleeping there by myself one night feel scared and unsafe. When we asked to upgrade, we were told to pay 100K rupiah more per night? I will not recommend this
