Relaxed and comforable with mostly a 1930's
I loves the relaxed family ambience and the 1930's feel
The wonderful 1930's feel was let down considerably by the jarring effect of the red door curtain. A William Morris fabric instead, turquoise with a little gentle pink would have enhanced the room delightfully. If it featured a shell effect when folded back, like the curtains between dining room and bar, it would be perfect.

Almost perfect.
The place is adorable, quirky and cozy. Moreover, it's at 2 minutes walk from the train station and on the main street. The lovely lady that assisted us was great! She helped us find good spots to visit in the city and was always ready for any of our needs and up for a chat. The room was beautiful, the bathroom big and comfortable and the shower had great water pressure and temperature. Overall a fantastic experience!
The food wasn't bad but also not the best. Also we had some issues with the door to the room, we had to try the card several times every time to enter the room. Last small thing, the bed was short so one of us had to sleep with his feet hanging over the edge.

A really nice place to stay. The room had everything you could wish for, was extremely clean and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was first class. Came away feeling relaxed after a restful night and full after a lovely breakfast. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay there again

Delightful, quirky, friendly, entirely lovely stay.
Perfect location as I travelled by train and then wanted to explore Salisbury. The Caboose is small and characterful (gorgeous '20s vibe downstairs) with lovely friendly staff. The reviews had mentioned some rooms suffer from the noise of traffic - perhaps I lucked out, being further back in the building. It was gloriously quiet. The room was immaculate and very comfortable, with good shower (makes such a difference). Lovely cooked breakfast option in the morning.
It's hard to fault! Maybe - and this is as picky as it can be - a wider choice of beverages, some mint tea and the option, somehow, of better-than-instant-sachet coffee? Might there have been room to squeeze a desk in to work at (I came, in part, to spend some time writing - but it was absolutely fine to settle sitting on the bed and put my feet up!).

Great location and great value.
Great location. Was a couple of minutes walk from Train Station and very close to all the shops and restaurants. About a 15 min walk to the Cathedral. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good. The decor inside the breakfast room was amazing.
There was nothing we didn’t like.
