About this house rental
Our place is a lovely, tastefully decorated two bedroom holiday home perfect for a romantic weekend away. Featuring open plan living with a modern kitchen/breakfast bar and dining area. The living room is warm and sunny with a pleasant outlook to the back yard and heat pump to keep you warm in the evenings and on cold days (gas fire pictured not currently operational) . The large deck opens out to a flat spacious back yard, great for kids and grown-ups alike. A casual stroll away from the beach and restaurants (400 metres) and 2 minutes from the corner dairy, bakery and fish and chip shop - it's a great place to relax and unwind.
Note: Compulsory cleaning fee $80 per stay.
2 x Mountain bikes available so you can enjoy the fabulous Kapiti Cycle trail.
Special conditions:
Minimum Bookings: Min stay 2 nights. Public Holidays 3 nights (Easter 4) and; School Holidays 3 nights. Tariff is for 4 people. Freeview TV. Electric blankets on all 3 beds. Deck area may be unsuitable for toddlers. Please ask. Smoking allowed outside only. No pets. All damage to be paid for by tenant. Cleaning Fee mandatory.

We have stayed for a week in summer for four years in a row with our family of four (parents 5yrs and 9yrs).We like the short walk to the beach, the garage to lock our bikes in, the nice lounge for playing in on a rainy day and the well appointed kitchen for self-catering.We always get good communication with the host.

Had a lovely time. House very easy to relax in, great location close to everything the beach has to offer. One small issue we had was immediately attended to by the lovely owners. Highly recommend.

Property is well located and great deck/backyard. Very tired decor, lack of Netflix etc. enabled TV and the 'no towels and bedding' was weak, however it is close to Waikanae Beach, restaurants and bakeries etc. Checking in, instructions etc. all very good. OK overall, with some limitations...
