We enjoyed our stay at Sunny Glen Cottage, hosts are friendly and helpful, beautiful gardens and my favourite thing was watching the Tui's in the birdbath. Close to the river walking track which is suitable for walking/cycling/swimming/ walking dogs/bird watching. The Village is walking distance with everything you need (supermarket, cafes, takeaways, post office, shops) and the train staion where you can catch a train into Wellington city. Very popular Saturday morning market and the Waikanae beach with great views of Kapiti Island is about 4 km away where ther are more cafes.
We had a postive experience.
