Fully and ecologically restored, this house offers the charm of a half-timbered house from the 18th century paired with modern living comfort.
Inside we offer an open living-dining area and an adjoining kitchen. Large patio doors connect the interior with the terrace, which is oriented to the west. Beams on view and a fireplace provide a good ambience. Stylishly adapted furniture discreetly round off the ambience.
There is deliberately no TV, but WiFi throughout the house.
On the upper floor there is a large bedroom (double bed 140x200 cm) as well as a toilet and bathroom.
In the attic there is another bedroom (double bed 160x200 cm) and a large bathroom with tub, shower and toilet. A ceiling fan ensures a pleasant indoor climate.

The property was in a village and was a timber and brick traditional building. The village had limited amenities, but was well located for visiting local towns: we visited Gottingen, Goslar, Einbeck, Hanover. Einbeck was a pleasant surprise as we were not aware of it and enjoyed the "pub crawl", following a route marked by barrels round the town. Gottingen botanic garden is historic, but not in perfect maintenance. Hanover Berggarten was worth a trip - the only place I have ever been to to get winter flowering orchids to flower in summer. The week was very hot for the time of year and it was good to spend time relaxing in the cool of the house.

A beautiful home with a spacious living area, clean sanitary, very well-equipped kitchen, two bedrooms and a garden. It was ideal for our stay with a 1 year old, for whom there was a travel bed provided. Only thing we missed was a high chair for her. The nearby cities Göttingen and Einbeck were very nice and we had beautiful hikes in the Solingen national park.

Eine Woche haben wir zu Viert in dem schönen, individuell eingerichteten, geräumigen Fachwerkhaus in angenehmer Umgebung verbracht.Alles ist so wie abgebildet vorhanden, netter Kontakt zur Vermietung und absolute Wohlfühlatmosphäre ob bei Sonne auf der Terrasse oder am knisternden Ofenfeuer am Abend. Alles sehr zu empfehlen.
