About this apartment rental
Our vacation rental was reopened by the Bongartz family in July 2025. With this additional, lovingly furnished property, we are continuing our tradition of hospitality. The apartment offers a total of four cozy living units featuring modern amenities and the region’s distinctive charm.
The property has three bedrooms: two are located on the first floor, and one is in the attic. In addition, there is a spacious living area with a sleeper sofa, a fully equipped kitchen, and modern bathrooms—ideal for families, couples, or small groups.
Our goal is for every guest to feel at home with us—whether for a short stay or a longer vacation. The vacation rental is in a quiet yet central location—just 150 meters from the historic old town. The location is perfect for relaxation and exploring the area.
A special highlight: The Europaradweg R1 bike route runs right past our house—ideal for cyclists and active travelers.
In the immediate vicinity, you’ll find numerous shopping options, restaurants, and cafés offering everything you need for a pleasant stay. The region offers a wide variety of attractions—from idyllic hiking trails and bike routes to historic landmarks and popular amusement parks.
We especially recommend Heldenburg Castle in Salzderhelden, the historic Einbeck Brewery, the PS.SPEICHER, and the breathtaking views of the Leinebergland. Whether you want to enjoy nature or discover cultural highlights—there’s something for everyone here.

Old Town Vacation Apartment on the 1st Floor:
Our renovated vacation apartment, with 80 square meters of living space spread over two floors, accommodates 1–6 people. The cozy living room, featuring a sleeper sofa and a flat-screen TV, is the perfect place to relax. The fully equipped kitchen, featuring a dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer compartment, stove, oven, microwave, electric kettle, egg cooker, toaster, and coffee maker, has everything you could want. The vacation home features 3 bedrooms with one double box-spring bed, two single box-spring beds, and each with access to the balcony. The spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower, large mirror, and towel warmer rounds out the overall experience. Please note that pets are not allowed. You can use the Wi-Fi and the parking space in front of the house free of charge.
On-site fees: Payment: Cash on site or bank transfer in advance before arrival Pets: not allowed Check-in from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, check-out by 11:00 AM. Different check-in and check-out times are possible upon request. Keys will be handed over in person on-site at Backofenstraße 20, right next door. Please call us 30 minutes before arrival at 0049 152 55111155. Included services: Wi-Fi, cleaning (weekly) Parking: upon request (€4.00 per night) ; bicycles can be parked in the courtyard; a power outlet is available for e-bikes.
