What I liked the most were the communal areas including a rooftop terrace where you can see the eiffel tower sparkle at night (from afar but still beautiful). The bunks were better equipped than most hostel bunks (curtain, light, mirror, little locker with a whole for a charging cable, power sockets right next to it). The bed was comfy, the room was clean and it even had a balcony! Would definitely recommend staying here
This is a minor thing since public transport is easy to navigate and takes you to any part of the city you like but the area is probably not the nicest. However, this wouldn't keep me from visiting again especially since it's close to the Flixbus station which is quite handy

Great bed with curtains and nice balcony in the room. The man at the front counter was lovely and held my bag for me before check in and after I’d checked out for free. Bed was really comfortable and was a large room with hangers and a locker.
Location although close to the metro it is about 25-30 mins away from central Paris just factor that in. The girls at the front desk were quite rude in comparison to the man encountered. Beds are not soundproof like other reviews stated, snoring and people showering at 2am will keep you up, although not the properties fault just something to keep in mind. Beds could have been cleaner, black hair was all through my sheets and blankets before I even got in the bed.

Excellent as usual, I'm coming around third time or 4. I like the concept and price is reasonable and it gives privacy - location is goood as metro is around
Property is goood - but people should learn to shut when they sleep in a dorm.
One Indian was talking in phone with his family putting speaker and this same guy someone complained against him when i was going to check in i listened. One girl was saying he snores at night.
Then i went to my room - i found that guy - talking on the phone on speaker so i told him to stop and he actually stopped.
And the second time he repeated - i was not tired, so i just let him speak. I hot fed up.
Same guy here - he was make noises at night weird ones is like he lives alone - snoring sneezing coughing moving .... terrible guy - that was my inconvenience.
Noisy messy guy and i forgot , first time i saw him talkin he was eating Indian food which smells very strong
So imagine....
Reception ppl needs to be strict with people regarding food in the room, speaking as well.
Snoring, dirty people that cannot be manageable. Its human nature - i cannot blame someone for snoring but its very annoying thats why i bring ear plugs with me in case
And sometime ear plugs does not stop noise completely

- Good location. With 3-minute walk To Line 6 on the left and Line 8 on the right, it is very convenient
- Unlike many other youth hostels, showers and bathrooms are in the room. Although they are still shared, much better than going to the corridor.
- The bed has curtains, and you will hardly feel the light outside after pulling them up, and you have lights inside, which makes the bed a private space that you can read, play phonegame, etc
- Always clean and comfortable. Not too hot in summer and enough warm for winter.
- Rooftop very beautiful
- cost effective for this location and the quality
Since I first came here, this place has become my favourite short-term hotel in Paris. But this is still a youth hostel: this means that the experience largely depends on your roommate, that is, luck.
I was unlucky this time. After getting off the train at 9 o'clock, I went to check in for 2 days. I got my card and the room is in dark so I turned on a light in the corner (not the big central one) to place my luggage and find my bed, less then 5 minutes I was questioned by a roommate why I turned on the light: She had already drawn the curtains so as I said these are good curtains you say nothing when whey are pulled up, and it was not 22h yet . Even if I explained, she kept asking me to turn off the light. Finally, I can only do everything in the dark.
The next day, worse, a roommate's mobile phone rang 5 times from 3 to 5 o'clock, lasting for two or three minutes each time, and everyone was woken up except herself who had a goog night and was completely unconscious. Then another roommate began to break out and quarrelled with her until six o'clock. The severe lack of sleep made me drowsy and had a headache all day, and all the planned itinerary was cancelled.
The staff can't really help with all this.

The location is fantastic, with many cafes and shops nearby. The metro line is also close, making it easy to connect to all parts of Paris.
The bed was very comfortable, and both the room and washroom were clean. The bed had a separate locker for small items, and there was a large locker to store your cabin bag.
There’s nothing major to mention.
However, they could display a large banner in the room asking guests not to talk on the phone. Some people (sharing the room) behave as if they are in their own space, completely ignoring others. This isn’t the hostel’s fault, but in our room of five people, one person was talking on the phone at midnight, which was extremely annoying.

Helpful staff, nice rooms with good beds. Small luggage room but they key cards for each locker are a nice touch (plus it's free)
Would be nice to have a second sink in the toilet rather than just in the shower

Everything was good.
Missed chair or table in the room, just as an additional storage space to put things on them.

Lovely rooms, friendly and helpful staff.
Comfortable beds, good shower with hot water at all times. Sunny rooftop with herb garden, enjoyed mornings on the roof before day trips.
An easy to find main road but a Quiet street, good for sleep, with good local shops and amenities, and café restaurants.
Good access to Paris activities on the metro.
Would definitely book again and highly recommend it.
A good area and location to return to after a days sightseeing and evenings out.
Easy to get back to after a night out in the Latin Quarter.
We had a great time and we enjoyed it,
no dislikes, highly recommend it.

Check-in and check-out was easy and smooth, Room was neat and clean, there was a nice balcony with tables.
Location was convenient, it is close to the metro station, however good to note that it is still far from central Paris or tourist locations.
Room was tiny and too basic, there is nothing other than bed and bathroom. Bathroom was clean but super cramped.

Very nice location with the loveliest staff!
There are some strict rules on bringing your own drinks or having drinks in the rooms, which felt restrictive.

Good location (close to grocery stores and metro lines). The staff were very friendly and helpful. Very clean room and good facilities. Towels were offered and can be borrowed with a deposit (10 euro) which was very convenient.
The shower room was quite small. Not a big fan that the sink was in a separate room with the toilette, which made it almost impossible to not make any noise when using them. The breakfast had to be ordered the day before and cannot be bought in the morning, which was also a little inconvenient. The bunk bed curtain was quite thick and blocked the cool air from AC, making it very warm in the night (but it was good at blocking light).

Handy location for the Metro, nice to have kitchen available. Lockers in rooms were great.
Toilet didn't have a sink, which was fine but in a room of 8 chances were someone was having a shower so couldn't wash hands.

I arrived and told I didn’t have a bed and so had to try find somewhere else late at night. Ended up on a bench
The receptionist was good she was just doing what her boss told her. I got no refund.

Great value for money. Near two metro stations, taking about 30 min to the iconic scenic spots. A supermarket nearby. Free luggage storage. Lift provided. Quiet at bedtime. The staff are helpful. Each of the beds is self-contained, with usbs and sockets, very convenient to charge the mobile phones and electronic devices, with shelves and a small mirror for putting cream and make up.
If a wash basin could be installed in the toilet, it would have been excellent. The doors of the bathroom and toilet could be made less heavy. The light of the bathroom turned off too easily and we need to open the bathing area door to activate the lighting.

Staff was very helpful. Being able to leave things in locker before check in and after check out was very convenient. It is close to metro stations from line 6 which take to straight to main things to see in the city. Beds are comfortable, with place to store things safely and a couple of useful shelves with power outlet to charge devices. Usable kitchen and common area.

.Was a good location for train and walking. There were a few decent restaurants close to hotel and supermarket. The kitchen was equipped to make a meal and had good inside and outside seating.

I had a private room with a balcony on the 6th floor. It was a small space, I stayed alone, not sure it would work for 2 people staying together.
The room was clean, accessible by an elevator. It didn't have the feel of a hostel, i was expecting to see lots of people and chaos, but it was surprisingly quiet in a good way. There's a rooftop which I visited once.
Very accessible to buses and trains and had some good places for dining including a lovely Thai food place which I visited more than once. Also, Monoprix and Auchan supermarkets close by.
I stumbled upon a charming street market right outside the hostel premises which happens Tuesday and Friday morning to 1pm. Lots of clothes, shoes, jewelry, knick-knacks and street food. Beautiful!
I loved this location and would consider staying again.
First, the price wasn't the best. This in my opinion was overpriced at 520eur for 3 nights, and I'm not sure why... I visited in the last few days of May, so not quite time for the summer rush yet I think...
Secondly, I didn't like that you could not book for a single room for 1 person. It had to be for 2 by default even though i was travelling alone. This could be the reason why the price was high.

Very kind staff. I stayed only night as there was no availability for a second night. I decided to stay at The People Nation for the second night. And comparatively, Bercy was a million times better, I felt safer.
I liked the room. It was very spacious. Although the location may not have many restaurants or cafés, it's located between 2 metro stations - very convenient.
The bed could have been comfier and the linen cleaner.

The beds had a curtain which provides privacy. The hostel was clean and was very near the transport station. The staff were ever friendly and kind. The lady at the reception is lovely and very welcoming. The beds were comfortable and have lockers with a safe to keep your belongings near you while you sleep. There are other lockers that opposite the bed that you can put the rest of the stuff. It was generally a good place to be and would definitely be back and recommend.
I had booked a female’s only dormitory and on the first night there was a male in the room, however it was a wrong allocation and the stuff doing the room allocation was new. The receptionist was quick to resolve this and the male was allocated a different room. The receptionist kept on checking with us to make sure we were okay.

Location was in a quiet neighborhood
Hostel itself was very quiet if that's your thing
Patrons were very respectful of one another for the most part
This is just a personal preference but didn't love the bathroom setup - you could hear people blow drying their hair all night. Understand that's part of the hostel experience but prefer a separated, community bathroom.
Room was stuffy due to radiator (but that's just going to cold places during the winter)

What a find, clean, super friendly and very safe. A couple of mins walk from the metro and surrounded by lovely shops and bistro's, not hugely touristy either but very convenient. The room was huge with a lovely little balcony and there was also a delightful roof terrace. There is a market on a Tuesday and a Friday right outside which was fab, the staff there were super - bi lingual and very helpful. Stayed with my 13 year old son and will def be back
Nothing I thought it was excellent

This was a good location for getting to the bus station in the morning but I wouldn't say it's good value for money at nearly €60 for a night. The beds are comfortable and I appreciated the privacy from the curtains and the locker inside the bed area. I had some people in my room being strange and others making lots of noise and showering etc until midnight. Not the accommodations fault but maybe there could be signs around talking about when the quiet times etc are

Close to metros, cafes and supermarkets, safe and quiet neighbourhood, friendly staff, spacious room (with good view)
May have been picky, but the bathroom and toilet door locks made a loud sound, which was a problem when they were used late at night.

That the patio was closed after 10 and people were mostly doing their own thing. Maybe it could be nice to find a way to encourage people to do something together
