About this farm stay rental
A character restored farmhouse in the Dordogne 30 minutes drive south west of Bergerac airport.
The house is 40 minutes from the fabulous wine area of Saint-Émilion, 30 minutes from the Bastide towns of Eymet and Duras, 15 minutes drive to St-Foy-La-Grande on the Dordogne river with its fabulous market and in driving distance to many wonderful other Bastide towns and just one hour from Bordeaux.
A wonderful, relaxing place for holidays with family or friends.

A fully equipped kitchen with Rangemaster gas hob and electric oven linked to an open plan area including table and sofa in front of a log burner fire for very sociable living, leading into lounge with three further sofas and a separate dining area with an open fire.
Large games room with pool table, ping pong table, vintage model railway, sofas and chairs leading out to a fabulous terrace area with furniture under an awning.
Large fenced off heated swimming pool with loungers.
Fabulous outside, covered, eating area with rustic BBQ.
Field with space for football, croquet, boules, rounders, cricket, darts board to name a few things to do at the premises. Bicycles (with cycle hats) and scooters and an array of games, videos, puzzles and music within the house.
The house is in a wonderful setting with a beautiful terrace for watching sunsets across the fields. It has a modern fenced off heated swimming pool with loungers and pool games.
Peaceful, idyllic private setting on the edge of the small hamlet of Couture, within easy reach of Bordeaux, Saint-Émilion and Bergerac. You can visit the nearby towns, canoe on the river or enjoy a spot of wine tasting or while away the time over a superb six course lunch or dinner in the private courtyard of the next door Naked Vigneron.
There is so much to do in the area.

We hebben twee heerlijke weken gehad in dit huis. De communicatie verliep uitstekend! Ook voor onze tieners was er van alles te doen. Absolute aanrader!

An outstanding villa offering excellent facilities both inside and out. Our party comprised of two families with children and the villa met all of our needs; inside, the games room kept the teenagers entertained with ping pong, snooker and WiFi! While we played cards around the table with a glass of wine (or two!). Outside, the covered verandas provided a welcome retreat from the sun, also allowing us to watch the children in the pool. There was ample comfortable seating for outdoors eating with lightning for later sessions and games. We made use of the outdoor games, playing cricket, football and darts too. The pool was clean and well maintained with sun loungers and provided many hours of entertainment for the kids and adults alike. Linda was available for advice and guidance throughout our stay via text and provided everything we needed for a wonderful holiday in a beautiful part of France. We will definitely return.

When we arrived everyone in our party was delighted with this villa and spent a good while looking around and exploring (our girls loved the 'secret' room). Its an extremely warm and welcoming place with all the amenities you could possible need, a real home from home. As soon as we got there we new we were in for a lovely relaxing stay. Everything is very clean and tidy and the location makes a perfect base to explore the lovely French countryside. The villa is full of lovely character, a real French county vibe. The games area was also very nice.
Special mention goes to the fabulous pool - really is perfect. Very good size and HEATED which is so important if like us you have little ones.
The host is extremely helpful and welcoming which makes everything that bit easier!
Overall this is a 5 star villa and if you are looking for a place to stay in this area simply book this villa, job done! Book with confidence you'll not regret it.
Highly recommended, looking forward to visiting again.
