Gîte LEGOTINE: Large farmhouse restored

Gite Legotine, has been beautifully renovated and is completely in the countryside. They have every appliance you can think of so you will feel right at home. The only thing that could do with an upgrade is the TV. Eric and Juilette are very easy to talk with too.

Lovely property and we had a very relaxing stay. Checkout experience was a little fraught though!

Lovely house in a beautiful area with a lot of space.

The property was excellent. Lovely, cool inside the house, well equipped kitchen, lots of bedroom options for families, large outside area including covered dining area near the pool where we had our family meals. Pleasantly rural, easily accessible and not overlooked. Several excellent markets nearby (Villereal Saturday and Issigeac Sunday being the best). Disappointingly, although advertised as having a heated pool, the pool heater was not working. This was a major issue for us as we had two small children and had to guarantee the pool was accessible for them even if the weather was cool. We chose this property specifically because it had a pool heater. The owner explained that the heater blew out in early May, over a month before we arrived, but it had not been repaired and he had not communicated this to us. The pool was covered when we arrived and was dirty, needing 2 sessions with the pool cleaner before we could go in. The air temperature before our arrival had been low 30s but no effort had been made to uncover the pool during the day to warm it up, to mitigate the pool heater absence. As a result the pool was a chilly 22C and it was 3 days of uncovering and covering the pool before the pool temperature reached 26C. When we left the pool was clean and a warm 31.5C for the next guests. Had the owner shown the same consideration to us to make sure the pool was as warm as it could be, the pool heater failure could have been overlooked, but regrettably they did not.
