This is a lovely little apartment in a fantastic location overlooking the port. Will definitely visit again.

The key safe was a 10 minute walk from the appartment which I hadn't realised prior to being dropped off.

Perfect relaxing holiday in a wonderful apartment in a great little town.

This apartment is in a great position, the photos of the view really don’t do it credit. Stunning views over the port, with the chateau and Canailles beyond. So impressed with the layout, the main window fully recedes meaning the whole apartment is flooded with light, like being outside. However the windows and doors are really well insulated so no noise and makes the AC really efficient. Well equipped, romantic getaway for two. We lived being able to open the electric shutters in the morning with a switch by the bed. Everything has been thought through for guest comfort,! Cassis is a wonderful town, great beaches, lovely shops bars and restaurants a few minutes walk away.

There was one noisy night with people in a neighbouring apartment having a party. It was resolved quickly.

A well appointed apartment witha wonderful view!

A lovely apartment, well-appointed with a fantastic view overlooking the port. If you want a place in the heart of things, this is it. We spent many moments just sat looking out of the window or on the balcony enjoying the ambience and watching the world go by.

An occasional sewer smell in the bathroom and toilet - often resolved by flushing or running the shower a little. We stayed for 10 days and were provided with just two bath towels and one hand towel for the entire stay. When we inquired about additional towels, we were informed there would be a €10 fee, so we opted to wash the ones we had. While this wasn’t a major issue, it’s one area where a small improvement could make a big difference - providing a few extra towels would better accommodate guests staying for longer periods, especially couples. For future stays, we’ll plan to bring a few of our own.

We had a great stay at Le Bel Ecrin par Dodo-a-Cassis. The apartment was very tidy and clean. The view was so beautiful! The service was also very good. We were picked up at the train station and were brought to the apartment. Thank you so much! We recommend Le Bel Ecrin par Dodo-a-Cassis to everyone!

Fabulous Appartment as good as the photos, in fact we were impressed that it felt bigger! Lots of light, plenty of storage, great WiFi, well equipped kitchen. Lovely location right on the port but not noisy at this time of year Good comms from the agent and thank you for adjusting to our delayed check in time due to road traffic!

Overall we lived it all The w/c was very small, but that can’t be changed. The big shower room made up for it!

Amazing location on the port.

The location of this apartment is amazing, right on the port and halfway between the two beaches which are each a 5 minute walk. We enjoyed walking out for restaurants and shopping, and sitting on the deck watching the activity on the small harbour. The apartment is set up well and is modern. The air conditioning and wifi work well. In the daytime and evening there’s a constant buzz from the open-air restaurant but it’s not “noisy”, more of a happy chatter. It is the quiet end of the town. If you want to close the door and window, the double glazing is effective and keeps the apartment quiet, and electric roll-down shutters additionally block out all noise at bed time. Overall a great place to stay.

The bed is small. There is a smell from the bathroom basin which is like sewerage, and it’s obvious as you enter the apartment. When I queried whether the water was safe to drink, the property manager replied … “Hello, yes the water is drinkable of course. As for the smell, it certainly comes from the fact that the wind has turned last night. It's quite common in Cassis, as the evacuation installations aren't all recent, but it doesn't last. have a nice day.” Unfortunately it did last for the week we were there, but we got used to it.

Classy comfort in Cassis.

The location was superb with a view out to the harbour where we enjoyed some lovely evenings. Modern kitchen and appliances with everything you needed including essential food basics

The bed was way too small for 2 adults and having to supply own linen was unusual. The linen supplied to us was not clean If it wasn’t for these 2 things we would definitely score a 10. Loved Cassis .

Incredible views and location, some quirks that would have us probably not rent again

This is an awesomely located condo right in the port of Old Town - open the window and you're looking right into the port and the vibrant, bustling center of town. Within steps of the beach, fabulous eateries and bars, boat rentals, and farmer's markets. Location does not get any better than this in Cassis. It was also easy to get the key from management - we WhatsApp'd and a representative met me out front when I arrived. Checkout was easy too - we were directed to clean up and take out our trash and leave the key in the mailbox.

~We arrived on a very warm day and though we had a brief overview from the rental rep, we had to contact her to figure out how to turn up the AC. We spent over half an hour trying to communicate and figure it out, until we just gave up. We discovered that management actually locks the intensity of how high you can put on the AC, it doesn't go past low. ~The stove is induction + took us forever to figure out, requiring more back-and-forth messaging with the rental company. They finally directed me to the electrical closet to cut the electricity off and on. This didn't seem to work, and we just gave up and never cooked the eggs we got from the farmer's markets. ~The washing machine is insanely loud...like, robots-having-an-orgy kind of loud...we don't know if it's on its last leg or just how it works, but we couldn't even be in the apartment while doing a load, it was so disruptive. We also felt badly running it since we felt like we certainly were disturbing our neighbors. NOTE to fellow Americans: there is no dryer machine, as is commonly the case in Europe. This may not be abundantly clear to some travelers so just wanted to mention that a "dryer" in EU listings means just a rack that you put outside. We were fine with this as this is how we do our laundry at home, but of course this means you have to plan accordingly (move your clothes outside to dry) or be left with soggy clothes (at checkout). ~You get a parking pass for your car (to park free) but be warned this is a high traffic tourist area and parking is very, very difficult. We had to circle many times and it took almost 30 minutes once to find a space within reasonable walking distance. ~they ask if you'll need to rent bedsheets and towels - since no one brings those items when travelling, of course you do. The cost is 20 EU extra which feels like a nickel-and-dime charge. ~bed is small for two adults and not very comfy (quite soft).

An excellent few days right in the heart of the lovely fishing village of Cassis.

It was very well appointed and equipped. The bed and sofa were very comfortable and the air conditioning was very efficient and quiet. We were also very impressed with the double glazing as you couldn’t hear any voices from the restaurants just below. I liked the modern design. The star of the show though was the location and the wonderful view from the balcony and window. It was particularly nice to see it at different times of day with the sun on the Cap Canaille and to watch all the activity in the busy harbour.

Perfect week in Cassis!

Very good location, nice view of the port, free parking! Renovated apartment with (almost) everything you need. The balcony is bigger than it looks on the pictures and it is perfect for a breakfast! I would recommend it for sure!

We had to pay extra for towels and sheets and we bought some sanitary and toilets things.

Next to the port, we’ll equipped place

We loved our stay there! Perfect for long term stays :-) Next to great location we liked: - the view from balcony (option to fully open the living room window) - very fast wifi (option to watch Netflix on tv or télétravail) - well equipped kitchen to cook fresh food bought at farmers market - new furniture, modern design - sound proof windows (for undisturbed sleep) - free parking option (wasn’t mention in the offer) - English speaking apartment manager

Just few small things, overall they didn’t impact much our stay: - living room sofa mattress was uncomfortable to sleep (opposite to bedroom one) - hidden bed blankets - refrigerator door was hard to open at times (required a lot of force) - the bathroom blanket was smelly when we arrived - apartment manager didn’t show up for the check out and at times was less helpful (felt very busy with work)

Moderne und helle Wohnung direkt am kleinen Hafen

Moderne, geschmackvoll eingerichtete, sehr saubere und helle Wohnung, in der man sich auch an einem Regentag gerne aufhält. Wunderbarer Blick über den Hafen und auf das gegenüberliegende Cap Canaille und erstaunlicherweise trotzdem ruhig. Alles da, was man zum wohlfühlen braucht, vom Spülmittel bis zur Bratpfanne, so dass wir gerne dort gekocht haben. Mittwochs und Freitags gibt es einen guten Markt in Cassis. Er ist in weniger als 10 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen, ebenso wie das Parkhaus (La Mimosa, 3 Tage für 46 € in der Hauptsaison), der Stadtstrand und die Ablegestellen der Tauch- und Ausflugsboote.
