The cost of the property was excessively priced for the quality relative to other properties in the area.

It was cute from the outside

Upon arrival we had to vacuum dozens of spiders and cobwebs from all rooms and buy our own soap cleaning supplies. Owners walked in without knocking on us at least 3 separate times. This is a privacy and safety issue of greats concern. The step located between the kitchen and living room was not marked with yellow caution but it was high above door opening not in someone’s line of sight. Many of us tripped many times, and even fell. The bedroom ceiling appeared to have black substance most likely mold. Bed had to be moved away from wall to get into the bed. Heating system and hot water systems had no directions or warnings- which ended up with the owner scolding us out of anger due to not following the proper process that was needed. Shower also had no written directions how to use - which ended up with no hot water one day. The listing said a washing machine was available however when we arrived, the washing machine was broken.

The cottage is lovely, really well maintained and spotless. Sinead & David were so kind & couldn’t do enough for us. We stayed here for a festival on nearby and it was the ideal location.

So Beautiful....

**** We arrived at this picturesque place near the sea and immediately felt at home. The communication with the hosts was very nice even before we arrived. We received a warm welcome on arrival. The house is beautifully and cosily furnished. It is therefore highly recommended. Thank you Snead & David for letting us be your guests.

Worst experience I have every had at any property - I use booking.com - should be removed from websi

no breakfast - location ok

no heat - turned out no oil - tryied to use the blankets in the closet - filty 3 TVs none working Toilet didnt flush - septic tank full - they had to bring in someone to take care of it Had to wash the dishes before we could use them - they were filty The house was full of spiders and daddy long legs and cobwebs

Superb

Quaint cottage in a fantastic location with wonderful sea views from the kitchen window and the back of the property. Located on a quiet country road so very peaceful in the evenings. Beaches within walking distance and seafield beach (with life guard in the summer) a short drive away. Shops/Quilty village a short drive also. Good Wi-Fi connection. Sinead, David and family were very helpful hosts; regularly checking if anything was needed if I saw them out and about.

Picturesque and peaceful, seaside getaway.

Comfortable and pretty, home-away-from-home style cottage; walking distance/2 min drive from a lovely beach for walks and really close-by to Quilty and Miltown Malbay for shopping and supplies! Maisies is the perfect west Clare spot to chill out and enjoy the quiet and beauty of the area. It was so lovely to be able to have my dog with us too. Lovely hosts who made us feel very welcome and know the area well. Thankyou for your hospitality!

It’s a very minor thing but but I think the living room would work even better with a low coffee table in the middle. Loved the big sofas though!

Will be back!

lovely old fashioned spacious cottage -exactly as you see in the description and pics -so I don’t understand why people book it and then complain after on here!! Has everything you need for a relaxing stay, short drive from the beach, 4 legged friends are welcomed and has a secure space out the back for them to enjoy (as well as you as it has sea view in the distance). Great hosts who do everything to ensure you have a great stay and very friendly community too.

As with all old houses it has its niggles but hosts responded immediately and did they’re best to sort straight away.

Worth a stay!

Fabulous cosy cottage close to town with wonderful helpful owners. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend! Owners were super friendly and helpful. We were a quick taxi trip to miltown malbay. The cottage was so cosy and cute!

Family friendly place to stay!!!

Our hosts Sinead and David were very friendly, helpful people.They stayed in touch with us all the time making sure all ok. This is self- catering cottage so the kitchen provide all must -have to prepare food if you like to feel like at home.Nearests shops or restaurants just about 10min drive.Beach 3min drive or walk if you like. You can sit on the back of the cottage and just relax looking at the ocean. Peaceful place. Phone not needed! Stunning sunsets! Amazing experience!We as a family definitely come back again and recommend this place in 100%. Great place suitable for simple life either for a short break or longer holidays.

I loved the granny style very old cottage so it was perfect for us as we don't need much to enjoy peace but if you like modern,luxurious and in perfect condition looking place this cottage is not like that.
