The location was perfect, a 2 minute drive to Spanish point beach and 5-6 minutes drive to Whitestrand beach and cliff walk which was great as we had our dog with us and loved the walks every day. Great base for seeing the attractions in Clare. Lahinch, Kilkee, Cliffs of Moher all 15-20 minutes drive. We loved the house and large garden which was very private. The owners Paddy and Anita live next door and are fabulous hosts.
You would need a car if staying here. Although only a 15 minute walk to Quilty village the road is narrow and very busy with traffic and no hard shoulder to walk on.

The house was a great base for the Willie Clancy festival and music classes in the local area. Amazing sea views from the house and only a short drive to a selection of beaches
It would be great if there was a hairdryer available in the house as we forgot ours! Also, updating the mattresses might be something to look at in the future
